At what point in this season does Oden stop getting a pass?

Maybe I missed the announcement where it says that there's something that we can do about when Greg's healthy enough to play or that whether we're snively, pissed, whiny, or otherwise petulant about it has any influence upon the situation.

He's under contract to play for the Blazers. I hope he's healthy enough to do so soon and that he plays up to his considerable potential. If not...life goes on.
 
Greg stops getting a pass from me the moment he stops trying his hardest to get back on the court. Fortunately that's never been a problem for him in his career and I don't expect it to be one. He works hard.

Keep on trucking, Gregory.

actually Hasoos did. And I agree with him. Why be upset over something you cant control and is in the past? If he comes back great.. if he doesnt.. great. Not one thing we can do about it. No player is getting a "Pass" from me, because thats not my job. What I am is a fan of this team. Just like when Channing Frye was a Blazer... he made me beyond frustrated at times, but does that mean that I wouldnt hold out hope that the next shot he takes is going to go in? No. Stressing beyond the already stressful up and down nature of a basketball game is a waste of time.

I think a more realistic question is: "At what point in this season does Oden start getting a pass?" I've never given Greg a "pass." I don't know a single Blazers fan who gives Oden a "pass." Everyone I know expects Greg Oden to focus on his rehabilitation, get healthy, focus on basketball, earn his paycheck, and help the team win games. Some of us even expect him to be good.
 
oden has been getting a pass from blazer fans since his first summer league when he had a sinus infection. Jeez you cant make this stuff up. Its like we should have known then. Some players play on broken legs... oden misses time with the common cold.

ok so come february and oden isnt on the court... all is good? gotcha..

ya know somewhere in cincy... red fans thought they could beat the phillies.... lol i guess its the same thing here with oden.

how are we delusional for not making a pass, or making a pass? I was pretty clear, I dont make personell decisions, so why would I get worked up over them?
 
no because its like me saying "who do you think will win... giants or bears" and the person says, "i like both and will be happy either way"

Funny I was going to say the same thing about you. People give you answers and you don't like them or can't understand were they are coming from so you just go on a rant about how everyone is to scared to give an answer to a question that you have now stated as not one different question but two different question. Giving up on Oden and stop giving him a free pass are two COMPLETELY different questions.
Anyway people who throw in the towel on Oden and give up on him in noway effects if he will get back on the floor and producing. No matter how many times you say he is a bust and will never develop into anything and we should just get rid of him for a sack of potatoes because he is just stealing money from the blazers and causing fans to become "Delusional" about him playing before Christmas because we all know he won't even suit up before next year. Doesn't effect anything about how he plays or the fact that he developed TENDINITIS from rehabbing to hard.
To answer the question, if Oden only gives us under 20 games this year then I will give up on him being part of the rotation and hope he does better in another place because I doubt we will match a MLE offer for him.

what stand is there to take? I was a fan before Oden, I will be after. Not sure what you want here....

but thank you for being bold and taking the stand you do with internet anonymity. It sure makes it alot easier for those of us who wish we could. You sir/madaam are a TRUE pioneer, and American hero.
