Anytime you are in Ptown just hit me up. Its really coming together now, and the band is back up and rockin again too, so the room is going to become very active this winter and moving forward.
Im so over working on improving it and want to start recording ideas. im flooding worse than Houston with ideas.

I think often kick drums cancel out bass frequencies and basses cancel out vocal tracks sometimes...

Kick and Bass do have alot of crossover, but what kills vocals in my recordings, or what I need to be aware of is the Cymbal crossover. Also crosses over the guitar.

If the bass guitar and the kick drum are mixed and eq'ed well, the bass guitar should be a full droning thug that shakes everything, where the kick drum should have a bit more high end punch to it. not much though or you will start to fight with the snare.
There are pros that know this shit mathematically.
all about frequencies and decibels. I call these people Gods.

Sorry, I read it wrong.
Midi always confuses me.
hmmm, im about to settle down and tinker some more. Ill see what I can get going via midi, but I had issues just getting PT12 to recognize the XA when trying to create a midi track. It only recognized as an instrument track.

Here's a list of MIDI notes versus notes on your keyboard. http://computermusicresource.com/midikeys.html

Set up the SX pads to recognize a note you can play, and I think it's as easy as setting the SX to receive and to play the note on your XA.

Thanks BC. :)
IM gonna read that now.
and you know, anytime, you are also welcome to come over and do some things. Not sure what all you have to work with, but you are welcome anytime.
And nice to see you back on here more. Hope the family is well. :)

Alternative hardware transports

USB/FireWire
XLR
mLan
Ethernet
Wireless
3.5mm audio jack

Bluetooth or WiFi seem like the obvious ways to connect these things. My fitbit one tracker runs days on battery and has bluetooth built in. The thing is the size of about 1/2 one of my fingers.

Ethernet the obvious choice for wired.

You don't have to change the actual protocol - the transport itself could be replaced.

Something like this company's products work with existing midi ports.

Im making headway, but Denny!!!

Seriously. Did you check out my equipment I posted links of ,or did you just suggest random ideas on how to improv the speed? lol. Half of what you listed is not an option in this format.
