Apparently since the beginning of August, the Earth has been getting closer to Mars than it has ever been. And on August 27th, we will actually see Mars in the night sky.

Pretty cool, though it might not be true. I'm definitely taking some pictures if it is though.

You can see Jupiter in the sky at times.

It's no big thing, they just look like a lot brighter stars.

Not much a of a star-gazer, but it'll mos def. help get nookie that night..

My birthday too...

You can see Mars, Venus, Jupiter, and I think Saturn in the night sky usually. Mars will look alot bigger when this happens but I don't think you'll see anything astounding. Just a big "star" with a red tint.

Thats crazy..Wow

I`ve been looking the past week, they`ve said you may get a good glimpse of it, but I haven`t seen anything. 27th this month should be intresting.

Yo Shard, guess what planet I wanna visit the most.

Sorry for not responding earlier... i ..... SPACEd out! LOL

anyways...

Is it Jupiter? I for one think it would be amazing for science to find a way to visit an enormous gas planet with incredible gravity and whatnot.
