The Austin Toros defeated the Canton Charge in front of 2,000 plus fans Thursday evening at Cedar Park Center in their final home game of the season.
The Toros were paced by Flip Murray, who led all scorers with 30 points and four assists. Jonathon Simmons (16), Terrance Woodbury (14), and Dexter Pittman (12) all scored in double-digits.

Shane Edwards led the Charge with 21 points. Kyrylo Fesenko (10 points, 12 rebounds) and Arinze Onuaku (16 points, 11 rebounds) each recorded a double-double.

Austin captured an early lead of 31-18 in the first quarter. The Charge dominated the paint in the second quarter with 16 points to the Toros six and outscored the Toros 30-17 to close the half at 48-48.

Canton continued to work inside during the third quarter, out-rebounding Austin 16 to 7. At the start of the fourth quarter, the Toros trailed 67-73. Rallying behind Flip Murray, who dropped 13 points in the fourth quarter, the Toros closed the gap late in the game. With less than a minute to play, Terrence Woodbury sunk a three-pointer from the corner to put Austin up 95-94. In the final play, Toros' Dexter Pittman blocked Canton's Re'Mon Nelson's game-winning lay-up attempt.

The Toros (18-31) play their final game of the season on April 5th in Rio Grande Valley Vipers against the Vipers. The Charge (28-21) will travel to Tulsa to take on the 66ers on April 4th.
