if you think rangers are winning this, ya crazeeeeeeeeeeeee!

AV 's personnel decisions esp. in this game was way over the top!

this team does not support 1 another, cally was the true leader of this team! and i'm noy saying with cally we win, but we play a different game for sure.

DONE! HAVE A GREAT SUMMER

The PP and Nash are killing them.

lol, series is only 2-1, very winnable. You're just an idiot.

I wish you'd go away for the summer, but we all know you'll be here next game.

Nash is definitely hurting the team but when you get shutout for 6 consecutive periods (not counting OT it's actually 8) then it's a team effort. Where is St Louis??? Richards??? Stepan??? As 31 said only 2-1 but not looking good. Team can't score

its not looking good and everybodys morale is down but its not over, we can suddenly score 6 goals in one game, goals come in bunches, im not giving up on them... you can, but again as soon as we get a good game you'll be back as always

Stupid to give up on this team at 2-1. Just need an early goal Wed

That's the key Dis. We score first (and play with the lead for a little while) and we win game 4. No doubt in my mind. They score first and it could get ugly. I think it is that important.

you make it seem so simple...score first...

WE HAVENT SCORED IN 120 minutes against a fruit cake goalie who self destructs in the playoffs...what does this tell us?

Well for one...it tells us we are due...right?
How can the fucking Columbus Blue Jackets score against this team and we cant? What is the magical formula?

Can St Louis and Nash fucking do something already?

This is the same shit all over again. The best part...the team leads all teams in the playoffs in blocked shots...smh

I am very pissed off at this team. Almost snapped my tablet in half with that second goal. Ready to tear the head off a chicken if there was one clucking around the neighborhood. This Pittsburgh team is not great, this is probably the one time we had a favorable matchup and to top it off we win game one. You figure wow this could be the year...then...this shit...

I don't want to hear about being tired and the schedule....that is their own dam fault. Take care of business and win against Philly in 5 and we don't have this excuse. The team was not tired last night, they are just inept.

Come on Al if 5 nights in 7 days were ok everyone who plays 7 gms in a series would do it. The Rangers are not the 1st team to play a 2nd round after a 7 gm series but guess what they are the 1st team in 25 years to play 5 gms in 7 nights. It's total BS.

Nope. And I think we win Wed too

I hear you Al, but we are where we are now. I think we need to get a lead and we'll be okay. I know I am making this very simple, but that is how I feel and felt last night as well. We just need 1 to get things going in a good direction again and loosen us up some. That is the key.

We get the lead and play with it for a while all good we win game 4. Yes I will make it that simple because 1. Pitt is not that good. 2. As much as we were snakebitten last night and could not score, we still totally controlled that game IMO. Look at the shots. Look at the chances. Look at the zone time. Look at the 5 on 5 shots. We totally controlled the game, and lost because we were tight and could not score...and hit 3 posts.

We score first and relax, this goes back to Pitt 2-2 and we have a clear chance to win the series still. If they score first and we get tighter...season over pretty much.

I am very happy I will be in the building tomorrow night. I expect a strong effort, except this time we score some goals.

Chuck, at the game tomorrow we need you to sneak down and tap Nash on the back and remind him we win by scoring goals.

back in the day you played back to back games then off day then another set of back to back games.

One day of extra rest is what pitt has on us...and that is due to the fact they won in 6.

I should look into getting two tickets and go to the game and add Coach Al voice to da Garden lol

just took a look back to a random series...1988 Devils vs Islanders. they played 6 games in 8 days just that series alone. it happens. so I don't want to hear any bullshit about being tired. man up its the fucking playoffs

Al, they've played 6gms in 9 days, that is a lot of hockey and even if it's b/c of their own doing, it's still tiring.

The game was a lot different in 1988. No point in comparing the intensity of the games then vs. now.

But 31 he leads the league in playoff shots...LOL. What a joke...SCORE SOME GOALS NASH.

Al, you should be there. Garden will be rocking. They know a loss and season over. So this is the perfect game to be at. The Rangers need us more in this game than any game outside of game 7 against Philly. So we need to be there and be loud. And IF we get that first goal, and the monkey off our back, it will be a crazy building and put us in a great position to even the series at 2 and make it a tossup in the last 3 games...a series we can still win for sure with a W tomorrow.

Let me tell you something I don't like though, the way AV and some of the players are appearing to use the schedule as a crutch.

MSL said regroup and come up for air.
AV called it a stupid schedule.

So we need to be careful. All true, and if we use it as a motivational issue, great. But if we let it wear us down and get into our heads as a reason for the loss last night or in game 2, big mistake. We need to guard against that, rest today, and we better come out on fire tomorrow night. No schedule excuse after a day off today with our season on the line.

I think it's fine to use it. The lack of scoring is more mental then physical. They are gripping sticks tight. They are not getting any breaks on the ice (3 posts). Relax. Take a day to chill. Come back Wed and score some freaking goals

Chuck, if you can get that close to him I prefer you give nash a swift kick in the balls

last time I looked you need to lose 4 games in a series to be eliminated. to all those who have hit the panic button ( on this Board ! , never happen ) chill out. That was one strange game last nite. It simply was not in the cards. If one of those 3 posts go in, it's a different ballgame. But that's the way it goes in sports. As Ranger fans, your part is to cheer for your team, not to start dismantling the team because their down 2-1 in a series. It is absurd to play 5 games in 7 nites, it has to effect a team negatively, but we soldier on and lets take it to them in game 4

I don't care about posts or whether or not they're tired. The fact of the matter is they were shutout in back to back games by MAF and have been shutout in 8 straight regulation periods.

All true Mess, but all we can do is rest up today, and come out on fire tomorrow and win game 4 and make it a tossup series again. That is all we can do, and I expect us to do it. I still think Pitt is a whatever team, and if we play our best we beat them. We'll see what we do tomorrow night. I expect a solid performance, but we need to score a goal and play with the lead for it to happen.

bottom line a team with Mark Messier Brian Leetch and Adam Graves wouldn't let themselves be shut out in back to back games the would find a way.
