I'm not sold on it at all as it feels like it's about being better now (which is a fool's errand) and money than I would prefer. Giving up a short term contract in Brogdon who should have value and two first rounders... I dunno.Look at the True Shooting %. That's really the key to offensive efficiency. 60%, that's 2% better than the league average, and like 6% better than the Blazers pathetic team average.
He's also a good defender, rebounder, passer....
Young, good contract. This is a good deal.
It is what it is, but I'm not buying that he's had a "breakout" any more than I believed Thybulle was a good three point shooter or any number of other small sample size assertions that some have thought on this board.
