As those who play the predictions game know, a players contribution is calculated as Points + Rebounds + (Assists * 1.5) + (Blocks * 1.5) + (Steals * 2) - (Turnovers * 2).

Small sample size warning (7 games), but here are the per-game contribution averages for those who have racked up any contribution points (plus or minus). Due to the small sample size, one game either highly positive or negative can impact the overall standings.

1. Lillard - 45.4
2. Whiteside - 25.7
3. McCollum - 25.6
4. Hood - 18.4
5. Bazemore - 15.4
6. Hezonja - 14.5
7. Collins - 13.0
8. Simons - 11.6
9. Labissiere - 11.4
10. Tolliver - 7.9
11. Trent Jr - 2.8

I have a basketballgm squad and they calculate game scores by including missed and made shots into their equation. I think adding that metric gives more meat to it.

For those that don't know about it, this an easy and free sim that I found on reddit. Someone made a file of the up to date roster for this NBA season among others that people have made, otherwise one will start with a fictionalized league. If interested in the file for this season's NBA rosters, you can PM me. Me, I have a fictional league with a team called the Portland Roses. Here is a link to the site if you are interested.

so then, somebody scoring 20 points on horrible efficiency will show better than a player scoring 14 points on excellent efficiency....?
