[THE HCP]

Yep. Full ACL tear. She worked her butt off to get back. Basically been a body builder for the last 6 months. Doesn't quite have her explosiveness back yet, but it's getting there.

That’s fantastic man. What a great feeling to see her back out there. My son was the starting RB his senior year and had a spiral fracture of his tibia and fibula in his first game. Rehabbed and went on to play JC ball.
My daughter broke her collarbone twice in 4 months…..rehabbed her ass off and was able to get a D1 scholarship. Tell yours to keep grinding! Sky’s the limit for her! Love it!

Kaitlen played quite a bit more last night, and played very well. She said fighting the brace makes her more tired. But she only has to wear it for another week or so.

8.5 months of hard work and grueling rehabilitation later, I get to have my junior season.

For everyone out there who is going through this injury, keep your head up, especially on the days when you feel like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. Keep pushing. You got this!

I met Phat! Last night. Oregon City girls vs Lake Oswego. Was there to see another game…remembered this thread…saw pics from the thread and saw his wife in the stands sitting next to him….figured that must be the guy…Jason Bourne style picked the right person and introduced myself. First S2 member I’ve met. His girl and team looked great- good player and well done Phat!

You might be right. Is there a shot clock? It would probably take her at least 30 seconds to dribble around you.

Very Jason Bourne-like indeed! It was a pleasure meeting you after all these years!

Kaitlen played pretty well. That was her most minutes in a game so far, and it showed. She only went 3 of 7 from the FT line and she was UPSET about that after the game. She's her own toughest critic. But she just needs to get back in game shape and she'll be back up to her normal 6 of 7-ish soon.

The team didn't play well to start. They're working on a couple new defensive looks for the stretch run of the season, so it took them a bit to get going. Got it done though. Tough one at Tualatin coming up this Friday. They blew us out in OC the game before Kait was cleared to play.

Not like that. Still a very athletic team, but not dominant like we used to be. We're working on it though.

Season is over. Lost in the 2nd round of the playoffs. Now we start the off-season grind to get to Chiles Center her senior year.

At the beginning of the season I was told I may not be able to have my junior season. I am so grateful for all the people around me who supported and had faith in me throughout this long and difficult rehab process - My family, my friends, my physical therapist, my orthopedic surgeon, my trainers, my coaches, and my teammates/basketballsisters.

All three of our girls were able to play a game together for their club team (Oregon Overtime). It's been a hectic couple of months for us, so it was great to get back after it in Kirkland this weekend! I'll have some more to share, but Mrs. Phats was so happy with this Mothers Day gift that she made clips on the way home last night.

at first I was confused as to how your daughter not only went from being a right handed shooter to a left handed shooter, but grew couple of inches in height.
