Yes, I was exiled for several months after moving to a neighboring town. After graciously resolving a previous problem with blocked ip addresses from my hometown; Denny decided it wasn't worth the problems involved in getting me onto the site again. He even ignored my emails (or maybe they got blocked also by a machine). Of course I understand there is only one thing that we Ukrainians are really good at; hacking and spamming: but I think Denny was also influenced by HCP who has always been worried i might take some of the attention away from him!

Anyway I'm glad to be back on (I moved back to my home base). And I hope you will bear with me if I blabber on for awhile, since i have not been able to say much for a few months. I watched every minute of every game and I have to say i was never really depressed by what I saw.

The positives for me from the season:
1. To finally see a really good point guard for Portland, after so many years of bad to mediocre play from this position.
2. to see that the idea of hiring coaches who teach really worked out. I think Lillard, Leonard, Claver, Matthews and Batum all benefited from this teaching.
3. Happy to see Matthews have a really good year; happy to know that the GM recognizes what he brings to the team and was never tempted to include him in a trade as a throw-in.
4. Happy to see that Batum developed an all around game, and hope he can sustain this
5. impressed by Leonard's offense; hopefully he can learn defense. I think he can be really good.
6. Was glad to see Claver will be an NBA player; I was wrong about him.
7. Am a little relieved that we seemed to have clinched the #12 spot in the draft and won't have to give the pick up this year. (what about my countryman, Alexi Len from Maryland; available at 12?)

Disappointments:
1. That we didn't seem able to sustain the tempo that we tried to set in the first few games of the season.
2. Can't say that Smith and Babbit were disappointments as I didn't expect much; but they were frustrating to watch.
3. The uncertainty as to whether Batum's falloff was due to injury or just a lack of mental toughness.
4. I thought Will Barton might do more; he may just need to be stronger or he might be the kind of guy who needs a lot of minutes to play well.

Anyway, good to be here again. (just want to make sure people understand I'm not really mad at Denny or anyone, I was just joking around)

Your English is too perfect. Prove you're Ukrainian: Who played shortstop for the Cubs in 1956?

I've been watching a lot of old tv series; it's funny how often they like to include a reference to Ukraine; even the Simpson's had a character based on our dictator (oops, I mean president!)

Was it Ernie Banks? (I told you we know how to misuse the internet.) Actually I'm really not Ukrainian although I will have a residence card once I replace the one my ex-wife stole. I think I would like to come back to USA but again my exwife is stopping me, but that's another story. So I guess I am still in exile.

You need a residence card to stop residing there? The story gets even fishier!

Actually, I know a little something about exiling an ex-wife...
