You said that the Sonic jersey was in, then later deleted from a show. Who made that decision and what was the process?

I have a question, Eric. Who writes scripts on TV shows? It used to be a tiny group of ideologically approved writers. If a freelancer mailed in a script, it was returned unopened so that he wouldn't sue if they happened to ever have similarities in a real show. Is it still that way?

Will the entire episode be a flash back, or do we get to find out how your character is doing in the nut house?

Thanks for the congrats, guys. I believe that Zach is only seen in the flashback which takes up most of the episode. I haven't seen a script yet though.

Congrats. Is this a one-off, or are you going to be in future episodes? If so, will you be re-relocating back to LA?

It's just one episode. I go to LA at the end of next week. It takes 9 working days to shoot the show (weekends are off) and then I may stay in LA a few weeks more to try to get another series. It depends on what's out there. We'll see.

As for the Sonics jersey, we talked about it, put the costume designer in touch with the NBA, and then we just never got around to it and the creator never made it a priority.

As for your second question, the creator, executive producer, and showrunner of the show is Hart Hanson. He does pretty much everything. While there are a team of writers, he is the final word on all scripts. Most of the scripts are written by him. Though the other writers do write and get credit for individual episodes, he writes the final draft. On top of writing the scripts, he basically runs the entire operation. He gets notes, though, from both the studio (20th Century Fox) and the network (FOX) and he has to deal with that. He's not the emperor. The studio and network can force his hand on some issues but he's very good at fighting that and getting his way for the most part. He and I are very good friends and he was a big part of my recovery when I was dealing with bipolar disorder.

Thanks for the answers. I'd love to figure out the power structure more. Roy Rogers had 3 female leads in his movies--Dale Evans, Gale Storm, and my aunt.

And don't let these idiots give you a bad time about your Bi-polar condition. I have worked with a lot who have the same condition and it is/can be debilitating to many. Good to see you work through and around the condition. That makes getting the gig an even greater accomplishment.
