Soft goal by Talbot which he can't do or else a vet is going to take his starts until Hank comes back.

That's just a stupid play by Hayes

They are gonna go with Cam, no matter what happens. They've played a half ass game so far.

It would be nice if MSL did not go into his long slumps. Man, this guy really shows his age.

They will have 20 shots in the third with nothing to show for it.

Their roster deficiences are going to start catching up to them unless they make a move soon.

Thank God for Lehtonen deciding to make a foolish play at 59 minutes.

Nice job but i'm really getting sick of McDonagh and Boyle's passiveness shooting on the pp.

Mcdonagh has had his head up his ass all season.

Crappy loss and another crap goal given up by Talbot. I'm telling you right now they need to get a veteran goalie in here to play some of these games. Talbot is going to be badly exposed if you expect him to go 4-6 weeks straight.

It's funny, he makes a lot of really good saves and lets crap in. It was a good shot but he could have gotten a piece of it

Funny stuff. I am not going to kill Cam when we struggle to score against Dallas, but I told you guys Cam cannot be counted on. 2nd goal is a must stop, and the 3rd goal while not a bad goal per se, is certainly a goal a good goalie can stop. I am concerned. With this team lacking scoring depth and struggling to score overall, combined with Cam in goal now it could be a rough stretch.

We now hit the road for 4 straight, not going to be easy. In theory we should win at Toronto, but they can score goals and Cam in that building scares me.

Pluses we got a point, which we may have not deserved, I think that puck hit the glass before going out of play. And the Isles/Pens lost last night, and the Caps lost today. So those are all good things.

This trip is going to be a tough one I believe.

In other news Brian Boyle haas more goals than all of our fowards except Nash, Brass, and St.Louis

Hank would not stop that last goal either. Simply, they did not play 60 minutes of hockey. Dallas was desperate for points to stay in the playoff hunt. The rangers were asleep until the third period. Typical of this team.

They often struggle to score but Hank often bails them out.

Hank wouldn't of stopped it based on what? The fact that he has his entire career?

Cam could have gotten A piece of the last shot, I know he didn't see it but he has to fight harder to see pucks

The 2nd goal is definately one he needs to stop. We'll see how he now does in games 3-5 which he hasn't had before. Maybe there's a little more nerves knowing he's the guy right now. It would be nice if they could help the guy out offensively.

At Toronto, at Colorado, at Arizona, at Isles. In theory the Leafs and Zona should be wins. Avs and Isles hope to split, but without Hank maybe 1-3 would be good.

Canucks, at Sabres, BJ's, Flames, Zona should be a good stretch of 5 for us though. Should win 3 at least, and hope for 4.

Then hope Hank is back soon after because we have a crazy hard 6 game stretch starting on the 28th at Philly. 5 of those on the road. If Hank misses all those games we are in trouble IMO.

This is all thanks to that idiot McDonagh who couldn't keep his stick from lifting Hanks fucking mask up

chuck, you make no sense. They are 1-1-1 with cam in net. Not sure how you can say he cant be counted on.

Here is what I know, out of the 6 goals Cam has let up in the past two games Hanks stops at least 3. Now with that said it isn't fair to compare Cam to one of the best 2 or 3 goalies in the world. So I will say 2 of the goals Cam allowed the past two games need to be stopped. 1 or 2 others could have been stopped.

To me the bottom line is I don't have faith in Cam to make the big stop. I feel if we don't play pretty much perfect D and give the other team decent chances they will score goals.

Like I said you can step up your game when Cam plays 1 out of 8 or 10 games, when he plays 14 of 15 it doesn't work like that.

We are going to need to score more with Cam in goal, but considering we got 2 goals, and 1 in the last minute, against poor on D Dallas my hopes for that are low. We better score at least 3 at Toronto or we will lose there as well...might even need 4 there.

First off I am not going to blame McDonagh, that was a crazy one off type of play.

As for Cam, I said it before the Preds game that I didn't think he could be counted on. Maybe I will be proven right and maybe I will be proven wrong, I don't know. All I know is since they said Hank is out for minimum 3 or 4 weeks we are 0-1-1 and he has allowed 3 goals in each game, and I think 3 goals he should have stopped.

So far I think I have been right, but it is two games, so I could still be very wrong. Hope I am.

You're seeing why Cam is a backup goalie. We're spoiled having Hank just like any other team with a net minder of that caliber. Look it was a freak accident with what happened with Lundqvist. I'm more upset with the fact that Mcdonagh's overall play has been below average all season. I wouldn't be shocked to hear that shoulder needs surgery after this season.
