For the Mercury to succeed this season, they know that offensive balance is key. As much as fans love to see Diana Taurasi put on a show, the team is much better when multiple people are contributing and finding a rhythm within the offense.
Tuesday against the Seattle Storm, that balance was on full display. Taurasi still led Phoenix with 20 points, but the Mercury also got 19 apiece from Brittney Griner and Candice Dupree as they rolled to an 87-72 victory over the Storm in front of 8,206 at US Airways Center.
