In my life experience I think generally the people who repeatedly get called racist are racist. If people often say a person is good looking, he/she is good looking. Get called dumb a lot? You’re dumb. So if two posters were getting angry about being called racist a lot, they might be the problem.

It's not always the case, but it sure seems to be true a lot of the time. One example of when it isn't true is when you hear "you're racist towards white people!" from a white person, to another person.

Clearly done as a "nuh uh, you are!" reaction to a situation.

If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, and farts like a duck, chances are it's a duck. If you support people who are sexist/racist/bigoted and you yourself make comments that seem to come off as ignorantly racist/sexist or bigoted, chances are you are one of them.

Like if you constantly have to tell people you're not a drunk, or not a womanizer, chances are pretty good you're a drunk or a womanizer.
 
So this abm guy says I called him racist? I don't remember this. And you gotta love the maris guy is backing him and orion. 3 peas in a pod. The 3 who have been accused of being racist on here MORE THAN ONCE sticking together. On a side note CC, id appreciate you not continuing to standup for and defending that clown. Doesn't look good on you......another side note, somebody on here going to my bosses trying to get me fired, it happened a second time. didn't happen just once.

Overly emotional writer of small novels (on a regular basis) and totally incapable of moving on from an argument, yes...racist? I don't remember that.

Who knows man? Dude shit all over every thread everyday. I'm just saying once those 2 other dudes starting having MY back, I'm on the wrong path. Also, abm claimed I called him a racist. I don't remember that. I probably should have at one point, but I don't think I did. And I DAMN sure wouldn't ever contact his employer about it regardless.

It would definitely give me pause if the character of maris started to defend me about something I said. I mean, a broken clock and blind squirrel aside, if a habitual liar all of a sudden starts to vouch for me, I'd have to re-think my life choices.

Well, you did And qualified that again by saying you should have. Nonetheless, I forgive you. Moreover, I was even attempting to engage you in some healthy conversation in a thread involving our friend, Sanford Robinson's new TV show, and how he's bringing some degree of racial reconciliation through the love of classic cars. I got crickets. That's OK, too, though, Nobody ever said you had to converse with me......about anything.

Nah, I’m the guy who called ABM a racist. At least once that I can remember. And I’ll do it again (and again) where warranted. And not just to ABM. If these people have a problem with that, then they can go elsewhere……or better yet, pull their heads out of their asses. For a cult that coined the term “snowflake”, they sure are fragile………..

I'm not defending anyone. I simply want to make sure everyone has all the facts before they make a judgment.

You keep bringing this up over and over again. It's not conducive to you. I don't expect you to stop being angry about it. But, at some point it needs to be put away here and left away.

I'm sorry, but you should be banned for that. There is no excuse for calling someone a racist. You might not like some of the organizations or causes that ABM supports, but I have seen nothing posted by him that would lead me to conclude that he's racist.

I disagree. We're not talking about something trivial, like someone tweeted at HCP and said he was a loser...this is about trying to take away the mans job and potentially cause harm to his children and wife. There is no way that if this was real life, this wouldn't lead to someone assaulting someone.

I don't think this is something you just "put it away", like a joke about him working for a landscaping company. It crossed a line, regardless of whoever was involved, that gives John a LOT of leeway here.

On one hand, he "made fun" of people on a website, and on other hand, they tried to get him fired. These two things are not equal.
