Barkley just said the Portland Trail Blazers are tops in the west

But he's not shooting 40%, so there's that.

Lol at the discount on rebounding... "Pretty good?" I'm he's 10th in the league in rebounding sir.

Also, score the most points, so there is your offense

Last time I checked, games are decided by the team that scores more

There's number of rebounds then there's rebounding rate. He's ranked middle of the pack among PFs in rebounding rate. If you adjust for time played, there are over 30 guys ahead of him. So I don't see him as a "great" rebounder.

Link?

Are you for real? For chucking an inefficient jumper (40%) like you keep holding onto and still averaging 45% from the field is pretty amazing! 22.7 points, 10.5 rebounds, 1.3 blocks and 0.7 steals is pretty sexy.

But hey, keep on trucking bro... Your jumper argument is all you can hold onto

No, 45% is quite bad actually. To put it into perspective, LA's eFG% is the same as the Minnesota Timberwolves, the 2nd to worst offense in the league. Sorry buddy, you're not going to win this debate (though not sure if you will ever realize that).

You keep talking about efficient jumper, as I have told you repeatedly that's not what measures a star player. That's the cherry picking numbers you use for role players. When the usage goes any higher than 20, then you must factor the entire body of player.

I do like your ignoring of 82games.com though. That was cute! :)

With Rolo does he really need to have a high rebound rate? I'd like to know his RR with and without rolo? rebounding rate is more indicitiave of having a center or lack of a center, really.

It's simple guys, put sinobas on ignore.

But how do you evaluate his offense? He's shot under 40% from the field 11 times this season, and above 50% 7 times. I think most fans would agree that when you shoot under 40% from the field you hurt your team offensively. If you guys don't see it that way, fine, but that's the way I see it.

I am not buying the hurt the team offensively bit - as long as it is done within the flow of the offense and the team runs the plays for it.

If LMA does not shoot the volume he does, he will not bring the other bigs out on him and will not open the interior as it does.

Look, would it be better if he shot a better percentage? Sure. But since the coach plans the offense around him shooting as often as he does - and from where he does - and it works, I am going to go with - the proof is in the pudding. We have seen last year when he was out - and a bit this year when he was out - that when these so called "inefficient" shots are not taken - the team's win record is much lower.

Now, you have to remember that Portland is one of the best offensive rebounding teams in the league, a lot of it comes from LMA dragging a big out to guard him when he shoots - which opens the interior for our other bigs, Batum and guards to do the offensive rebounding. Granted, if we had a team that is immune to offensive rebounding - it would not work well - but given the personnel this team has and the coaching it has - even his less than stellar efficiency with the jumper just works well.

2 people is clutchfans?

The 3rd guy "J.R" is just some insane reporter guy who embeds every tweet and gets every quote on demand, we wonder if he's even human. You guys worried about Rockets fans as much as you worry about your own team.

Dude, clutchfans is ridiculous. I was respectful over there and got banned simply because you couldn't handle having your ass handed to you by the Blazers.

Houston used to be my second favorite team because of Clyde, but fuck you all. You're a bunch of whiny little bitches just like your team.
