Barton signs on the dotted line (1 Viewer)

With Barton's slight frame and lack of a deep jumper. I think his best bet to be an effective player is coming off screens and hitting mid range jumpers. Ala Rip Hamilton.

That's going to be an interesting battle.

They both are very similar with the exception of rebounding.

Except Williams relies on his extreme athleticism and Barton on his length and craftiness.

Except one has been healthy while the other struggles to do so.

I look forward to watching both. One of my biggest disappointments last year was EWill's injury. He looked ready to step up his game.

I sure hope so. I am not high on him like most posters, but I will gladly give him a shot, hope I'm wrong and cheer his every victory.

I don't really get all the enthusiasm, either, over an older shooting guard that doesn't seem particularly skilled.

I get that he was a good value in the second round, but... I just don't see it.

I hope I'm wrong!

He's pretty skilled, that's why there's the hype. Not sure why you think he's not skilled.

OMG he's 21 years old. Nevermind, he is not capable of improving.

Yeah, he spent two years in college and just earned the right to order a drink in a bar,, what an old geezer. I wonder if Ed O thinks this thread is about someone else?
