Why is it that we don't play European teams in the preseason? We have former ACB and Euroleague players on our team in Nic/Vic/Joel. And we have a history with established players like Rudy and Sergio. We should play against the likes of Real Madrid too.
I think it would be really fun to see them play our current team even if they dominate. They're playing in TOR tonight, who have Calderon, Valanciunas, Kleiza, and Bargs as the token Euro players. I wonder what the criteria was for choosing these teams like BOS, DAL, MEM, TOR, etc to play against Euro teams.
Why are we talking about either of those scrubs? We got Lillard as the PGOTF.
I hope it's 300 pounds!Don't you ever wonder what that train wreck of an Ex is up to now?

Like Rudy, Sergio left the NBA voluntarily to star on Spain's glory team.
Sergio had historic assists per minute here as a rookie.
Interesting... So, being a back-up who plays 18MPG and averages 6 points and 3 assists makes one a star in Europe. No wonder Sergio prefers the glory of playing in Europe. He put up similar stats in the NBA and was considered a scrub and a third string PG on one of the worst teams in the league. Perhaps you are confusing this Sergio with the other one (Sergio Llull) who actually starts at PG for Real Madrid and just signed a six year contract extension.
Unfortunately, he also played historically non-existent defense, shot historically poorly and turned the ball over at a historically high rate. As awful as Fatty Felton was last season (statistically, his worst), his assist/TO ratio last season (2.32:1) was actually better than Sergio's career average (2.23:1) - and passing is Sergio's one, and only strength.
Those are the reasons he's no longer in the NBA, not some vain pursuit of stardom and glory as the second best PG named Sergio in the second best league in the world.
BNM
To be fair, Sergio has another strength - playing the game in slow motion.
After we traded him to the Kings...
Joining the Knicks late in the season, Sergio slowly took Chris Duhon's minutes.
He seemed to be about Duhon's equal.
Find a post in which I seriously said that Sergio is another Stockton.
Maybe Westphal is Sergio's Frank Layden, who will mold the system around him like Layden did.
Boob might start his own business like Bill Gates did.
If you can't tell someone's joking when he predicts Sergio will get 1000 assists with a bad chemistry team that misses most shots, then read it again. I was pulling for Sergio, but the post is obviously over the top.
Now it's Sergio vs. Koponen! Also featuring Rudy and Sergey Monya, for added ex-Blazer goodness.
