Batum's injury

NO IS THE TIME STOTTS!

START LMA, KAMAN AND LOPEZ IF BATUM IS HURT!

I don't think so for two reasons. LMA can't guard a quick SF like Kidd Gilchrist, and offensively he often struggles when a smaller man is pestering him.

Free Claver! It's him or Wright behind Nico. With our lineup we don't need to play small ball. Crabbe is taller than Barton and even Wes I think. If you want a tall 3, Leonard could probably do it. He'd be good at the inbounds pass for sure

When? I have never seen that.

Here's the thing. Aldridge and Kaman have developed a nice two man game, while Lillard and Lopez have one now.

Basically, Aldridge has the range to keep the defense honest from range, and his height allows him to find Kaman easy.

I can see two picks (aldridge up top, freeing Lillard on the left block, then Kaman rolling to the basket while his man tries to recover). If they cover Kaman, then Kaman can lov to Lopez or kick it out to Aldridge for the three

For one game this wouldn't hurt. They can experiment with it and see how it goes. If you do that, the production off the bench suffers but it is just for one game. Hopefully he isn't out more than two. Don't think he plays wed either.

One thing I'm not a fan of so far is playing Lillard, Blake and McCullom at the same time. Stotts has done this a couple of times and ..ouch

Please, for the love of God, Coach, don't start Wright.

I wouldnt even mind trying Crabbe at the 3 to see what happens

Or Wes at the 3 and Crabbe at the 2. At least against Charlotte. Its not like MKG is going to abuse any defender we put on him. Stotts needs to take advantage of the opportunity to try some things.

OOOOOORRRRRRRRR maybe ... Stotts should just go Pop and bench LMA, Wes and Lillard. :)

NO!!! not at the Moda Center! Back to back on the road against Philly maybe but not on homecourt

Yeah but you have pretty much said "ouch" about McCullom in general. We will see how that plays out.

I give CJ props when he plays well. Problem is, on the road he sucked and he still has to bring his shot more than 1 out of 3 or 4 games. Preferably back to back games. He's got potential but like a lot of fans, we're burned out on potential.

You were ragging on him after 6 shots this season. I get that a lot of fans have no patience, but that is not the smartest way to evaluate a young player. Now I have no idea how he will end up, but I do know he (like most young players) will be inconsistent for a while. We just have to live with it for him to get better by the playoffs.

How are you gonna put a guy at the SF spot who dribbles worse than the starter whose dribbling we complain about? :dunno:

CJ's stats are funny/wild, he's shooting 46% from 3 pt land and 35% overall!

If we're experimenting, sticking Crabbe in there for a game or two may not be a bad idea.

I've been a fan since 1976..that's patience my friend. I'm amazed you actually counted his shots in ref to my posts though

So you have been a fan since the championship year? I was a die hard the 6 years before that. Now those years took patience!

Anyways I did check to see how many shots CJ had taken when a few of you were bringing up his shooting stats after only 2-3 games. I was thinking at the time that he just needed to hit his next 4 shots to go from last to first on the team in shooting percentage. Meaning it was way to early. And still is.

Maggette used to give LA trouble. WorldPeace too.

It's not that I want this permanent or anything. I just think it would be cool to see it for 2 games. Maybe even for a small amount of time.

No I get it. I like to see those different line ups once in a while. Even for 3-4 minutes during a game.

Claver is probably most similar to Batum and won't upset the rest of the rotation. The worst that can happen is he struggles early and gets swapped for wright.

While Aldridge does an adequate job when switching the P&R onto a guard from time to time...
I'd be more worried about it if Aldridge defensively was matched up vs a 3 for lengthy periods of time.
He might be able to get away with it vs the Hornets.. But I personally wouldn't want to see it consistently... Ever against a team with good shooters.
