Batum's injury

Claver is probably most similar to Batum and won't upset the rest of the rotation. The worst that can happen is he struggles early and gets swapped for wright.

Veek-Tor Veek-Tor Veek-Tor for the Veek-Tory.

Spot on post Schilly! They are essentially the same player. Not looking to score, (Batum) long, pesky defenders at 6'10 each. (Batum is 6'8.) Good rebounders. Wright has quicker hands and will hit a 3 before Victor..so Wright probably starts and Victor would sub in. I agree with Tone that Victor may be the smartest position defender on the bench.

While Aldridge does an adequate job when switching the P&R onto a guard from time to time...
I'd be more worried about it if Aldridge defensively was matched up vs a 3 for lengthy periods of time.
He might be able to get away with it vs the Hornets.. But I personally wouldn't want to see it consistently... Ever against a team with good shooters.

Aldridge is to slow to keep up with a SF who takes off from the 3p line. His length would give him a nice chance to block the shot from behind but I don't see him being able to stay in front of a SF or prevent a SF from getting getting into the paint.

Maybe they will start CJ and play Matthews at SF. If Wright can't get off the bench I don't see why he'd leap frog into the starting lineup.

Iv' liked what i'v seen out of CJ, that might work.
