I know that there have many Bayless should play threads but this one will be a little different.

My frustration with Bayless' playing time has officially reached an all time peak (just when I thought it couldnt get worse). On a night where we went to a small ball line up for most of the game it makes no sense that he played less than 8 minutes. 8 minutes ... ridiculous. Meanwhile Blake plays almost 36 and fails to score. And KingSpeed, I dont even want to hear it about his 8 assists. If Blake isnt a threat to score at all then its like playing 4 on 5.

Bayless is probably one of my favorite players on the team outside of Oden. It kills me to not see him play. And it would really suck if we lost him. But Ive come to the conclusion that if he is one of my favorite players and I want to see him play then he needs to be moved. At least then I could watch him play for someone. It sure as hell isnt going to be for us.

I would love to think that Blake or Miller is going to be dealt thereby opening up time for Bayless but I know how our management team works and that isnt going to happen.

For his sake, Bayless has gotta go ... and its going haunt us when we do.

Considering the crop of young guards that are blossoming in the nba the past couple of seasons, it's a shame that Bayless, who is probably touted as being in the upper tier of those youngsters, gets no burn.
We're frustrated, but geez, Bayless must be about to go Jurassic on someone.

Just another way this front office/coaching staff have really screwed the pooch these past couple of seasons.

Highly enjoyed Michael Holton on the Fifth Quarter try to defend the move, as he said the coaching staff was saving Jerryd for tomorrow. Why not try winning the game right now and worry about tomorrow, tomorrow? Ugh.. Holton is so homer.

Makes perfect sense with our coaching staffs. Like trying to save for the 4th quarter. You can lose the 1st three quarters, just win the 4th quarter.

haha, no doubt. These moves are just so damn puzzling... just boggles my mind.

Didn't look too happy getting his luggage downstairs! HE NEEDS TO PLAY!

Did you see his face sitting on the bench in the 4th? Dude looked pissed. I mean, more than usual.

Sorry, but he should be! He has been nothing but a plus on the floor, and still can't get any run.

That game was exceedingly winnable. No sense putting players on the shelf for the next game.

I'm not sure what exactly our coaching staff is trying to accomplish... we have 9 healthy players, 6 of which played 32+ minutes tonight. We have a game tomorrow against teh 9th quickest pace team in the league and we will have Bayless, Cunningham and Howard with semi fresh legs.

Too bad you all watched ESPN and not our show! You guys missed my Ohio Players music video!

I don't buy that it's KP
Me either. Sure, KP wanted Blake back. That was a different time and a different team. KP LOVES Bayless. I have no doubt KP will trade Blake in for an upgrade if presented with the chance. Same as he would do with Miller, or Bayless for that matter. KP isn't stupid.

My only guess is that Dean doesn't want to rock the boat, but what the fucking hell? 8 lousy fucking minutes and instead we are treated to another 35+ night of Steve Blake (yes he played OK defense and did distribute the ball OK) ... but 8 minutes? Seriously!?

I've seriously considered not renewing my season tickets if we re-sign Blake in the offseason..

Well I guess with all the minutes JB has been logging it's a legitimate concern. You have to wonder how a 21 year old athlete who averages 10 minutes/game could possibly be able to play tomorrow night. He's got to be running on fumes already.
