Bayless or Roy?

Roy, Bayless, Aldridge, Oden, Batum, needs to be the future of this organization barring future injury's.

Why not both? They've shown capable of playing together and doing well. Brandon is still the man though.

Roy's proven himself in more games, I think that is easy to answer who is better.

However, Both will be awesome next year as starters if Nate gets his head out of his ass and realize Jerryd deserves to start.

Bayless is more athletic and has more physical ability. Roy is more skilled and has a better feel for the game. It's basically like the difference between Wade and Kobe, IMO. I'd rather have the latter than the former.

Is this a joke. Bayless has given us some hope. I am really excited for what the future might hold, but it has only been a FEW games.

Bayless has now totally proven himself over the course of a season. He isn't quite on the same level as Wade, but on the next rung down, he's at least a top 12 NBA player.

Roy is probably getting worried Bayless will take his all-star spot, I mean besides Kobe there really isn't a better guard in the western conference.

/sarcasm?

I would add Rudy to this group and agree. There are plenty of minutes for Roy/Bayless/Rudy in a 3 guard rotation, especially since we should run with Roy or Rudy at SF for ~10 minutes a game.

If this year has shown us anything, it's that the chance of those six being healthy for most of an 82 game season is rare, minutes will be fine.

I think KP's job over the next 9 months is to add a backup 4/5. Millsap or David Lee would have been perfect, but even a Carl Landry would be good. If KP can't find the ideal candidate, he could settle for a veteran like Howard/Mcdyess/Rasheed along with a younger guy who has some upside.

No offense dumbest question I've seen posted on here. Really after 2 games your questiong whether he's better than a top x player in league unbelievable.

Roy, duh. But the prospect of having this the two as a one two punch has me drooling. We just got a taste of the two of them working together in the phoenix game and now we are seeing what Bayless can do all by himself. They will make eachother better. My question is will they be Batman and Robin or Batman and Batman. More like Batman and the Flash but the Flash isnt as cool of a super hero as Batman.

I doubt Bayless will ever reach Roy's level, but I'm pleased with him and think he is and will be a very good player.

I'm excited for our future with him and Batum. I still think Oden is the key to a championship, though.

The last 6 or so games have just been awesome in Blazer land. What an up and down season.

Go Blazers!

Eric of course sees one fantastic game and all other games disappear. :banghead:

Yeah he gets a bit into the moment. He is a very passionate fan and follows the team as much as any of us, so as long as you rember he can't contain his in the moment excitement and adjust the context you view his comments in it's all good.

It was fun a couple years ago when Eric was traveling on all those away trips, buying tickets next to Donald Sterling and heckling players. We all got to vicariously live the ultimate fan life through him for awhile.

That is exactly how I see Eric. I really like him, and think he is a great fan.

I'm actually slightly entertained by posts such as these and the Randolph, Yi types.

hahahahahahahahahahahaha...........the guy was 10 of 24 last night and you are comparing him to roy who against MIA was 11-15 including 5-5 from 3. good work on asking the dumbest question you've ever asked on here. that took quite a bit cause you've asked some really, really dumb ones.

roy...

and if they can't coexist then trade skip for true role players and let him get his minutes elsewhere. sell high

Funny question, thanks for the laugh.
I love Bayless' game and think that he and Roy will be a great duo going forward.

One thing I did notice against the Spurs is, with Roy out, the offensive flow and tempo seemed much better without Roy slowing down looking for the 5 on 1 move. Just seemed more conducive to team ball.
Hopefully Roy will allow Bayless to control the Ball from the point, at times, though he doesn't seem to like the ball being in anyone's hands other than his own.

roy and bayless in the backcourt with an elite three point shooter at small forward. the two guards may generate enough cumulative assists and the spot up shooting comes from the Three

how about bayless or derrick rose?

might sound equally silly to some but bayless is already showing much better range than rose has to this point, and for that reason could be a much better fit with roy.
