"Caleb's familiarity with our organization..."

Can we trade that 'familiarity' for Kyle Kuzma since Neil completely whiffed on him the first time?

Do we really want the real slim shady on our team?

Instead of Swanigan? Absolutely! I get he has his issues and the Lakers are even looking to possibly move him, but his skill and ability at least gets him time on the court.

Neil screwed up that draft. Collins over Mitchell I think was the more egregious mistake.

FWIW, Kuzma's stats are very comparable to Melo's.

I like Kuzma but his actual value compared to his popularity is hilarious. He gets treated in the media like he’s some foundational player that Lebron is holding back.

Even as someone who likes Zach.

Collins over Mitchell AND Adebayo. And the other Collins.

Screw that. We could have had John Collins AND OG Anunoby. Something that a few of us here actually wanted.

Don't forget Jarrett Allen either.

I like this Ariza trade, we desperately need Size and Perimeter Defense, Bazemore is 6.5 and Ariza is 6.8 and can guard anything through 1-4, it was almost comical how Bazemore had to guard the big boys (i remember these Lakers games where he switched on LeBron Multiple Times and had zero chance). I dont blame Baze because he was asked to do more than he could do, I Think he is a good 8th or 9th guy in the roster, but certainly not a starting Level player and especially not at the 3 with 6.5. If Ariza plays good and can knock down open 3s lets say at 38% we should keep him

Could be worse. How would you like to be the Lakers and have taken Ball with the No. 2 pick instead of Mitchell? Josh Jackson at No. 4 instead of several players, including Kuzma? You can play this game all day long with every team's draft history.

Yeah, he's slotting into those minutes that Tolliver was getting behind Whiteside.....because who else is going to play?

I mean, you want a list? Biggie is the worst player currently on the roster. I’d rather put Hezonja at the five.

This is honestly like arguing whether 47/100 is bigger than 46/100. I mean, it technically is, but who cares?

You asked.

It just seems like quite a minuscule thing to get hung up about. Mario, Moses, Jaylen and just about everyone else on the team have already had a chance to prove they are worthy of a rotation spot, and they haven't. They're going to throw Caleb out there for a few games and if he sucks as much or is worse than the guys that have already played he's probably also going to join them on the bench and they'll cycle back to one of the other guys to get an opportunity.

Hopefully, Nurk is back in a few weeks and Biggie takes his rightful place on the bench or is traded. Until then, may as well give him a shot and hope for the best.

Stotts kept Tolliver and Bazemore in the rotation no matter how awful they were, so I don’t trust Stotts would just pull him. He saves that for the rookies.

Blazers are going to revive Biggie's career, pump up his stats, and dump him on an unsuspecting patsy.

When you wish upon a star....

Yep, hindsight is a great tool. Don't recall Kuzma being mentioned very often or at all before the draft.

Caleb's job will be to take up space on the floor until reinforcements get back from sick bay.

If he can rebound and set a screen he should be a Biggie help to our current 8 man roster.

Nice that the Blazers have an extra day off to work with Ariza and Caleb on the offense.

He has to bring his lunch?

Baze, I don't think we're in Portland anymore.
