ESPN.com sources: Miami has agree to a trade with Minnesota that will send Michael Beasley to the Wolves. Link forthcoming [via Twitter]

Interesting. So the Big Three get more money, but the M'Eat lose another impact player.

So...the Heat traded Beasley and now have 4 players under contract?

Who is the 4th FA they're targeting?

Wolves-Heat deal, sources say, calls for 'Sota to absorb Beasley into cap space and send its 2011 second-round pick to Miami to seal deal [via Twitter]

This is for Mike Miller

Congrats to Mike Miller on getting a team to grossly overpay your sorry ass. he's gonna be Wally Szcerbiak before you know it

So they get a trade exemption?

Miami gets further under the cap to actually sign the three to full max deals. Miller is heading to NYK.

Going from playing with Wade/LeBron/Bosh to Darko/Pekovic/Rubio in a few years if ever. Awesome.

Chuckling a bit at the thought of a Triangle Offense being run by Flynn/Webster/Beasley/Al Jeff/Darko

I think this cements the fact that Miami would have traded Beasley for Gomes straight up

and we didnt take it

I dont know how i feel about that

I would be more depressed about going from a winter home in Miami to a winter home in Minny.

I'm right there with you -- equal parts frustration and relief.

Well, maybe this opens it up for that trade with Minny.

Beasley went from a possible #1 pick in 2008 to being traded for a second round pick in 2010. Amazing.

I think a place like MIN is just what Beasley needs. He couldn't handle MIA. This will be an opportunity for him to focus on his game away from the spotlight. Unless he's into ice fishing or Prince lookalike contests, there's little else to do in the Twin Cities in the winter.

And Kahn was well on his way to being the worst GM in sports.

I think this is the first good move Kahn has made. Beasley for a second-rounder, I think is the deal? That's fantastic value...essentially no risk to kick the tires on a former #2 pick who's only played two seasons (and actually been somewhat productive, especially relative to his age).

But the rest of that roster is a mess.

There is a kick ass bar called WHITEY'S right by the arena!

Another SF wow
pretty sure Beasley played primarily at PF for the Heat... he's about the same size as Love

...and the right to swap future 1sts. A future Heat 1st looks to be almost a liability because of the guaranteed years and $$$ while a future Minni 1st should be quite valuable
