Beaver "Nation" in trouble

Huh, and I thought having a UO football player get caught by airport security with a strap-on penis in his carry-on luggage was embarrassing. We've both had our moments, no doubt.

Not to mention, the Ultimate Frisbee team getting banned because they decided to play with no pants...

Ducks may have better looking cheerleaders, but the Beavs have more Playboy Playmates / Playmates of the Year!

Way to turn this thread around, BeerBoy. Your kung fu is strong. And appreciated.

Lot of question marks for both teams.. but both teams have the chance to be good.. the think in UO's favor right now is their schedule, most of their really tough games will be at home which anything can happen at Autzen. Here's to College Football season only being a little while away!

I have a feeling this is going to be one of the best Pac-10 seasons in a long time.

4 Legit threats to win the Pac-10 Title (Cal, OSU (probably the most debatable), UO, USC)

3-4 legit Heisman contenders (Quizz (again, probably the most debatable), Masoli, Best, McKnight).

I'd take Cal out and replace them with Arizona. As for OSU, they have to travel to USC and to Cal. Not to mention they have a late November game in Pullman, which is never a fun place to play, but if you add in the likelihood of poor weather, it's even worse. And the Civil War is in Eugene this year.

I've got the Beavs down for 7-8 wins this year. Their OOC games are weak, so they should cake-walk through those. I think they lose at Cal, at USC, at Oregon and maybe their early-season home game against Arizona (I think 'Zona is going to be good this year, and Riley always slips up once or twice early in the season).

I'm talking about what universities are meant for--academics. Keep your eye on the ball.

They were talking about donor base and significance of Phil Knight's contributions to the athletic program. Those are completely different from the academic qualities unfortunately.

No way AZ is any good without Tuitama TBH.

Cal looks like they are going to be very, very good.

7-8 sounds reasonable for OSU, although I do see them stealing at least one of the three major road games (Cal, USC, Oregon). And I doubt they lose to AZ at home, I really don't see where you are getting this AZ hype from lol.

Wow. I can't believe they've lost 1200 season ticket holders after competing so hard in the Civil War and following it up with a scintillating 3-0 Sun Bowl vic over Pitt.

LMAO. When does the second phase of "Raising Reser" start?

I know all the Ducks get such a great education, so this shouldn't be much news to you coming from a dumb Beaver student. Dropping 1200 in season tickets is not that bad, and don't act so pompous. I would like to see where U of O athletics would be without Mr. Knight.

Also, for such a horrible attempt to slam the University and it's stadium, you should really research (thats something we learned how to do at OSU) and realize that Phase 2 had been completed already. It gave OSU the largest replay screen in the Pac 10 until Oregon realized they could not let OSU beat them at anything and went and installed a bigger one the next season.

So, come on Duck fan. If you want to insult the Beavers and OSU, bring your A game and do a little better research. I would expect that all you Ducks are getting a somewhat decent education down there in EUGENE...
