It's never been done but one day, it will happen. I remember when no 8 seed had ever won. Eventually, it happens and history is made. We almost did it in 2003. Let's do it this time. We can beat these guys. Go Blazers!!
 
That series changed when Mo realized how good ZBo is and Dallas had no answer for him

We don't have a ZBo hiding on our bench.
 
Unfortunately King, the Spurs are as good as it gets. Gonna be a finals rematch for sure. Go Blazers anyway.
 
The Spurs are pros, but remember, they choked last year REALLY BADLY..in the finals. So LETS FUCKING DO THIS!
 
If we can keep it under 10 points, I will be happy.
 
I think King Speed was using the same "believe harder" mantra in that Dallas series. And it almost worked. Doesn't hurt to resurrect it. I believe they can win Game 4 for sure.
 
If we pullout a win on Monday and SOMEHOW sneak a win in Game 5 I will be believing harder than I've ever believed.

Pressure is off. Time to just play basketball. Spurs have all the pressure to close. We have no pressure as no one expects a come back or even a single win. Now is our time. #believeharder

I'm sorta the superstitious type, so once we won games 5 and 6, I really did think it was because of this. Glad you dusted it off!
 
I'm watching the Blues Brothers, if Jake and Elwood and get $5000 to the county tax assessors office in a 11 days the Blazers can come back from a 0-3 deficit.

Well of course the team up 3-0 looks good before they crumble. I remember in 1994, before which no 8th seed had ever won, the Sonics DESTROYED the Nuggets in Games 1 and 2. The Nuggets came back and won three straight to win the series.

I also think we're due for a blowout win. I think we're the only team but Charlotte that has never led by 10 points in the entire playoffs. Do you believe that? We have never led by 10 points! I think we're due. Blowout win in Game 4, OT win in Game 5, blowout win in Game 6, and 5 point win in Game 7. On to WCF...
 
I have something to admit to the group, I am also a New York Jets fan.
 
One game at a time. If we beat the Spurs at home next game, the whole view changes. Records are made to be broken and I say let's win 4 in a row! I know it's a stretch but we've played a 91 game season and folks thought that was a stretch. Take comfort Blazer fans in knowing we beat Dwight Howard, Chandler Parsons and James Harden. Popovic is a genius coach. Whenever we trim the lead to 9 pts, he calls a timeout and puts fresh legs on the court, killing momentum. The Spurs are putting on a basketball clinic that may be the best I've seen in decades. Pride and respect! We have another opportunity to right the ship. Nic and Wes played their hearts out in the game last night and shout out to both of them.
 
I love the optimism, too, but it would take a total breakdown by the Spurs for us to win this series. So far in the 3 games we have held a lead for a grand total of 33 seconds! That is not an accident. Their defense is strangling our offense.

This series is now a clinic called "The Spurs show the Blazers how to play basketball."
 
I'll make you a deal Eric. If we come back and win the series I'll pay your medical bills from last year. If not, you pay mine.
 
If we come back and win 1 game I'll be happy, 2 games I'll be thrilled

We can do this. We've won the second half in all three games, I believe.
