2 of the last 3 games are in the Rose Garden and we are DUE for a blowout win. We'll blow them out in GAme 5, come back to HOuston and get the elusive road win and then we will KILL them in Game 7. And everyone will talk about what a great series it was. Then we'll beat the Lakers in 6 games. Mavs-Blazers in the WCF will be tough. Could go either way.

GO BLAZERS!!!!

We'll only win this series if we change our gameplan to be more aggressive with our bigs and play tougher.

As to your point, I agree, we can still win this series. Get the first one Tuesday then try again in Houston.

Seriously, bipolar much? I've never, ever come across someone with as wildly shifting moods as you. Must be that Hollywood living.

A) I am bipolar so don't joke about it.

B) How are my moods shifting? I've always maintained that we can win the series.

I suppose it's the way you go off on Oden, then say how awesome he is compared to Bynum, then the next night go off on him again. It's all good though - we're all overly passionate about our team on this board.

we know you are bi-polar eric, but please think before you post sometimes, it is very irritating the flip-flopping you take on so many situations

This is a case where taking a few moments away from the keyboard to recollect ones thoughts can help with certain issues people may battle.

houston will not be blown out in any game. the style they play doesn't allow it. they have dictated the pace and it was to be expected because it is much easier to slow a game down than it is to speed it up. i'm still not sure nate really wants to run though, and beating houston in a slog down series is very tough. we've been outcoached and outhustled that has to change at some point or the series is done.

Breaking things help too as long as you don't break the top of a glass stove top that costs over five hundred dollars. That's no good at all.

I like your attitude, KingSpeed. I do still believe it's possible. I think we'll win the next game at home, and we have a good chance to take the last game in Houston. A Game 7 in Portland would be a dream come true.

I'm still hoping!

Bingo. Their defense is so consistently good, they will not be blown out. IF we win any more games, they will be close, grinding games like the last 3.

game 5 will be a blowout. the blazers will either come out and dominate the game or they will fold and go home. i expect the first to happen.

According to Quick the Blazers actually believe they are the better team. They have confidence, they just need to put it altogether.

I honestly feel like the Blazers can win 3 in a row vs the Rockets. The Rockets are the ultimate try hard team, and I said that before the series even started. If the Blazers can match that they win this series imo. No more getting crushed on the offensive glass.

And maybe, just maybe, get a few calls to go the Blazers way. Jesus christ it would be nice for once.

If people think officiating has been bad in Houston just multiply that by 5 is probably what we'll see in a game six elimination game in Houston. I doubt we'd have a chance.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not blaming tonight's loss on the refs, I blame lack of D rebounds more than anything for the loss, but I've felt all along that we would have very little chance in a game 6 at Houston.

I haven't completely gave up hope though.

I think if we can take Blake out of the game in the final two minutes from here on out and run strictly a Roy/Fernandez/Outlaw/LMA/Greg(or Joel) lineup to close the games we can win three in a row. I just do not trust Steve in the closing minutes of a game on the road (unless apparently it is in Toronto).

my honest-to-God opinion is we are the better team(not by much, but we would win a series in 6) and the refs will not let us win. call it whatever you want, but I've got foul numbers to back me up. Anyone who has watched the games, knows something is going on..this is bordering lakaers/kings from 02

the amount of bitching that's going on about the refs here is ridiculous. the refs did not decide game four. the refs made bad and questionable calls both ways. that's going to happen ever single game. latching onto a few specific instances where it went against the blazers and acting like the refs aren't going to give the blazers a chance to win a game is ridiculous.

That's bullshit. Because of the officials we had both our big men on the bench for an 8 minute stretch of the first half, during which there was an 18 point swing. If you don't think that decided the game, you're ridiculous.

I don't know if the Blazers are better than the Rockets or not. They certainly haven't shown it so far.

Games are won on the court, not on paper. I respect the Rockets enormously. They play the game with heart and with hustle, and they are outplaying us in this series.

I'll definitely be cheering my ass off at Game 5, but this feeling right now of depression hurts... hurts a lot. I hate this feeling.

It's all but over.

It's the Roy/Aldridge show with nobody else stepping up. You're not going to win like that in the Playoffs.

It's good to know who on our team are the guys who step up in big situations. Those are Brandon, Rudy, Greg (if the refs would ever let him play) and LaMarcus.

If you read my whole post I said that the refs didn't cost us the game.

Rudy too. Just to bad we don't give Rudy more of a chance to help.

i know. i didn't mean that about you specifically even though i quoted your post. the quote was more because you were saying that the refs weren't going to allow the blazers to win a game 6 in houston.

you must not have watched game 4 if you came away thinking the refs somehow cheated the blazers out of the game.
