I see what you did there. Following the rules and achieving success is one thing. Finding ways to cheat the system are another; and that is all I meant by what i said. Taxing people more because they work hard and make a lot of money is BS.

Are loopholes cheating the system? It's not illegal. I mean you are basically saying accountants are unethical cheaters. Is that what you are saying? And wall street is as American as apple pie. Who do you think owns stocks? Policemen and firemen own stocks in their pensions. Why do you want to take a giant shit on the backbone of America?

There is a difference between tax evasion and tax avoidance.

Nothing wrong with establishing your affairs the best possible way to avoid being taxed if within the code.

Purposely evading tax though, is illegal and wrong.

Exactly, the fact that Facebook, Yahoo, Amazon, Oracle, PayPal, Apple, airbnb, Cisco, Pfizer, eBay, Intel, Google, Johnson and Johnson, and hundreds of other corporations have moved to Ireland to purposefully evade American taxes is completely American. As American as apple pie.

I plan to do it here (SW Washington) but Bernies' plan would put the squelch on the the production. I would have to pay about 48% tax on the profit, but the whole plan took 20 years to make happen. This isn't right!

I guess the production will have to be moved, perhaps Ireland.

Much more concerning than these bracket changes are the total estimated taxation effects of Bernie's proposal.

All tax payers would see a decreased income between 11% and 18% depending on income.

I sure wouldn't be excited about taking a 15% pay cut.

I had to come out from my under my rock to get in some political fights.

Tax foundation isn't perfect, but they are trying to capture all of Bernie's tax effects which are a lot more than the simple 2.2% income tax increase.
