I liked Nirvana's "The man who sold the world" (Bowie) cover.

First two songs I thought of were the "Hurt" song and this one

I also enjoy Eric Claptons "I shot the Sheriff" way more then Bob Marleys

That is a lot of furries! The Flaming Lips are fucking crazy. i heard they came through town recently.

Never cared for John Mayer til I saw this on Conan. Just a bluesy, faster, louder version of a great song. With a gut busting solo.

A great song by the James Gang turned into blues by the Black Keys.

Johnny Cash covering NiN's "Hurt." SOOOO much better than the original.

Lol. This song is especially painful for me. The night that Bartman and the Cubs went awry in Game 6 of the 2003 NLCS, I left the sportsbar and drove around town listening to that song over and over and over again. Probably crazy to be so upset over a game, but I really wanted to go to the World Series. Now when I hear it, it gives me a headache and the sinking feeling kind of like I've just gone through a bad breakup or something.

NIN cover of "dead souls" by joy division on "the crow" soundtrack is good stuff
