What is your best mile time? I ran it in 6:19 once. It was a few years ago. I am pushing on beating that. It will take probably a month or 2 to get close to that. I'm at 7:58 right now.

Been along time since I have timed a mile. Last time was probably 2 years ago, some where around 7:30

6:25 was my mile time, I ran it last thursday, august 31st.

I ran the mile for fitness day Friday and ran the mile in 6:22. I also had to do a pushup test and got 34 nose to nose pushups(not crap pushups,I beat 75 percent of the average in the United States for my age) and I also did a situp test and earned 65 situps in 60 seconds.

I am 16 and can do 57 full pushups, I wonder where I'd rank? I can't do situps for sh*t though...As for my record mile, it was around 6:45, although that was 2 years back.

A 6:45 MileI tend not to do too many push ups, it could affect my shooting. But I rock at sit ups never timed myelf, I will dot hough and get back to you.

Push ups shouldn't hurt your shooting. Maybe it will force you to adjust with feeling stronger than normal but during the offseason you should get stronger.

I was talking to a guy studying to be something to do with sports statistics, he said that I should wait to at least 16 before doing any heavy stuff on my arms, I do 10 a night, 10 in the morning, thats it. Core muscles are much more important for driving, which I do a lot of so thats whyI like pushups.

6:10 mile for me. I'm in cross.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (LAZY @ Sep 7 2006, 05:30 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'><-------Awaits Balla's mile time</div> :HAHAHA: :HAHAHA: Anyways I'm 14 and ran it last week in 7:31 which is my best. Last year in the pushup test for fitness week I did 51 but after about 40 I started struggling and not being able to go fully down.

I went to highschool with a guy who ran a 4:20 mile, I'm dead serious. That dude was fast as hell.Maybe if I got all doped up on PCP or something, I could have done 4:20.

i run cross15:10 for 3 mile run(im 17yo)

I beat my previous best mile time by almost 20 seconds and I did nothing over the summer to condition me for running. All I did was worked on upper body strength.

Maybe thats why your time got better. You said you did nothing but you did.

that's complete bullsh**, I run cross country even if you are 17, 15:10 is ridiculous, f*cking liar

<-------- 6:16 for 1 mile.

Yeah I run cross too. I run 22-min average. I'm new, but 15 miles is way too low for anyone to get.

6:01 was my best time last year when we had to run it for PE.

I really couldn't care less, since he's some guy on the internet anyway. One guy at my high school got below 15 in one 3 mile race. He didn't win cross country in state (because he was sick with mono), but he won the 3200 and the White Rock half-marathon in Dallas. The prize for the half-marathon was like 1500 or 2500 dollars. Pretty awesome.
