...as @Shaboid already mentioned, Paddington's in Salem is the very best cracker bottom crispy style crust pizza in the world.

I'll need to go there!

I love Abby's for the cracker-style crust pizza. We often drive to Newberg just to get a couple pizzas on the weekend. The Poor Boy special is the best.

Yes. Abby’s. Love grabbing some Abby’s on my way home.

Abby's was the only pizza place we had in town growing up. It was so crucial to my childhood... watching the pizza get made, playing Frogger in the corner until I ran out of quarters.

Three of my favorites

American Dream Pizza on NE Glisan

Denicola's on Powell
I’m confused, you are rookie, but post with such wisdom. These are the two best pizza places in town. Well done!

lol. "rookie". I may be newer to this forum here but far from a rookie. especially when it comes to pizza and Blazers.

Sizzle Pie in Eugene near Keysey Square is a great place for pizza

Straight from New York Pizza. One on Burnside and I think 22nd, one on Belmont.

Not to be confused with Escape from New York. It started in Salem (where I grew up) and I audibly yelled when I randomly drove by the one on Burnside for the first time. Didn't know they existed outside of Salem, and apparently it was a recent-ish thing at the time. Big slices like a lot of other places, great toppings, awesome sauce, great crust.

I use to make a sales run through the Eugene area in the 80's and there was a pizza place right on the southside of Franklin Blvd just down from the U of O campus that had an excellent Chicago style pizza. Can't remember the name and likely not there any more.

I know that place....covered in Oregon Ducks stuff.....forgot the name as well...good place for pizza...been years since I ate there.

My brother worked at TrackTown while going to school down there and had the delivery driver selling weed for him on their routes!!!!! Love that place. Try to hit that up when down there working.

I went to U of O; my roommate, who was Russian Orthodox, would go there on Fat Tuesday and the day after Lent ended. We'd order an all-meat pizza both times and chow down HARD. I love that place. A U of O institution. I bet it's still there.

Funny you mention Lent. I was out with my parents one time after my baseball game and no meat was allowed on Fridays and we went to Carmens Restaurant in the heart of the Hollywood district which was close to where we lived. They actually had a crab pizza which was delicious.

Very good list!

Blind Onion in the Vancouver area is very good.

Double Mountain in Hood River also very good (and great beer!)

After you've had a couple, which beer isn't great?
