Anyone watching Your Honor on Showtime with Brian Cranston? Excellent. It may be what you are looking for @ABM.

The Expanse is so good. Love the book series.

I also really like the TV series, but I felt the book series was on another level. Though I felt the same way about Game of Thrones versus A Song Of Ice And Fire. Both universes are so (no pun intended) expansive and well-developed that the extra detail you get in the books makes a big difference.

However, I have to admit, Chrisjen Avasarala just pops on TV! Perfect casting.

Yes, I absolutely agree.

Though I'm not sure how they could have done the series much better, aside from just having Amazon money for the first 3 seasons.

My wife turned me on to Endevour, entering it's eighth season. A British Show, set in the mid 60's, which features a young skinny detective who has amazing deductive abilities. Sadly, his co horts and Chief did not take him seriously. His partner became respectful of his gift and the maturity process turns this concept into quite a good series.
Sounds really good.

Sly: I'm going to check that out. Thanks Bro..
The Brits have the best scripts, directing, stage sets and lighting techniques in their programs. I think their work eclipses American shows in murder mysteries.
Don't forget acting. Most of their actors got their experience doing the classics on stage.

I love it too. The real world of disrespect and finally total appreciation for her mind rather than her sex. Whoever thought Chess could be dramatic?

No kidding! Great series! Certainly got us playing again! This one particular game was fantastic. Got down to 3 pieces....and a draw! Never had that happen before.

Now that I think of it, my wife and I were talking about getting an app so we can play against each other that way. Similar concept as the old Words With Friends, I suppose.

The physicality of squeezing the opponents queen in the palm of my hands gets me excited.

Beginning Endeavor this evening. Thanks for the recommendation!

You are going to be addicted. He drives an old Rolls Royce, listens to opera and drinks when he needs to. Tell me how your wife reacts to the show too.

Got into this super late, obviously, but I've really been enjoying Mad Men. I'm through 4 of the 7 seasons.

It's not a crime drama.

It's sci-fi. It's set far in the future, where humanity has the technology to be able to perfectly recreate American life from the 1960s.

Yes and a butler in a english phone booth is what is making the 1960s happen.

Considering The Man in the High Castle. Anyone seen it? Is it good?
