As soon as I realized it was essentially the Jeanie Buss story I couldn't finish the first episode. My true sports hatred of that franchise just wouldn't let me watch it, felt the same with Showtime though I made it through a few episodes of that one before turning away.

If you have the showtime version of Paramount+ watch The Curse.
 
I highly recommend Common Side Effects on Max. But watch Scavengers Reign first (initially on Max, now on Netflix). They're not related (except by some of the creative people) it's just that Scavengers Reign is more mindblowing than CSE.
 
On a completely different tack, if you like David Mitchell from Peep Show (also from famous sketch "are we the baddies?") and also like cozy mysteries of the Miss Marple variety, then Ludwig (now on Britbox) is for you!
 
Just finished rewatching Season 1 of Last of Us. Sat down to watch Season 2.1 right now. Got my offseason off to a fast start obviously.
 
My wife and I tonight just started Your Friends and Neighbors I believe it’s called with Jon Hamm on AppleTV.
Damn good first episode FAMS!
 
Fired up Shrinking on AppleTv with Jason Segal (HIMYM & Apatow movies) along with Harrison Ford. Good little show that has me hooked. Also started up Vice Principals on MAX. It's always hard for me to see Danny McBride as anything other than a version of Kenny Powers since he typically plays a version of that character but Walton Goggins is awesome in pretty much everything (except amazingly White Lotus where it feels like his talents were wasted)

I love Shrinking. Probably my favorite show of all time. Good storyline and hilarious.
Gabby has so many one liners that make me laugh my ass off.
Anyone else think Gabby (Jessica Williams) looks a lot like Candace Parker?

Nathan Fielder is definitely one of my top entertainers to watch. Amazing work.

Is it better than season 1 that I felt got dragged down by the weird Oregon lady? I saw someone say S2E3 might be the best episode of tv ever.
 
Just now a few episodes into The Rightous Gemstones and it's about as I'd expect from McBride. Kenny Powers in church form except in this one there are enough other characters that it isn't ALL KENNY POWERS which made Eastbound so much fun but also kind of a chore at the same time.

I liked season 1, but I think season 2 is better. Episode 3 was pretty amazing.

I've just started the animated series of the Dutch comic hero Asterix and Obelisk the Gauls...I loved those comics when I was young and the Netflix series is well done. Good light fun if you want to see the last tribe of Gauls make fools of the Romans and remain independent thanks to a magic potion brewed by their druid Getafix.
