Which one tastes the best?

Personally I like Marie Callenders fallowed by Stouffers and Boston Market. I like the Marie Callenders because they tastes closer to home made then any of the others. I like the Boston Market and Stouffers because of the mashed potatoes.

For a girl, you sure can put it away. Damn, 3 dinners at once?

ugh, once you start cooking with fresh food and eating a bit more healthy.. you just can't go back to that frozen crap.. it doesn't even sit right in you stomach. I must be getting old :p

No, I seriously have no idea what you're referring to.
There complete dinners that you put in the microwave for a several minutes, and then, you know, eat.

Cooking is expensive and takes to much time. I like my food like you like a hooker, fast and cheap.
And quality. Cooking provides quality. TV Pukers do not.

TV Dinner is swanson's brand name for the same basic kind of thing.

Heat the oven, throw it in, wolf it down, regret it later

How many of you eat fast food?

Don't try to lie peeps, I've seen the McDonalds thread.

Now can you really tell me that TV dinners are any worse then McDonalds or Burger King?

There is one thing that McDonalds has that TV puke-a-thons don't have. Taste.

Years ago, when I worked the night shift at Home Depot one summer I used to bring Michelina's or a similar Chinese one (the name escapes me) for my meal (at around 1:00AM). I was in a zombified state at the time and something hot to eat was better than a cold sandwich for keeping me awake. Its really the only time I can justify eating one of those salty by-product stews.

in some instances yes, they are healthier and in almost all instances less salty.

Then there's the question of taste... even McRonald's beats 90% of frozen dinners. There's a reason why they're so damn cheap.

Not a single Marie Callenders meal has more then 650 calories (I'm not counting Pot Pie) or more then 1400mg of salt, and most meals are in the 400 calorie range. McDonalds has 16 sandwiches which are over 400 calories, 9 over 500 calories, and 2 over 600 calories. McDonalds also has 11 sandwiches that have over 1000mg of salt. Those are just sandwhichs, and I think we both know that few people rarely order just a sandwich but they also add fries which adds another 220 calories for a small, 380 cals for a medium, and 500 cals for a large and occasionally a shake or desert which can add anywhere from 160 calories to 1160 calories to their dinner/lunch/whatever.

Now, are you really still going to still here and try to tell me that McDonalds is healthier then a Marie Callenders dinner?

Really, brown some hamburger, douse it with Ketchup add a lil bit of mustard and make sloppy joes. Cheap, fast and easy.

I used to eat these during Bulls games maybe my junior year in high school.

Last time I had eaten fast food when I was in Milwaukee and we stopped at taco bell over winter break. Time before that, in Chicago during Thanksgiving break because it was the only thing that was open in the area by the time I arrived late at night, time before that....August. Now don't get me wrong, I used to be a big fast food eater. My dad would bring me fast food for dinner a few time sa week, and I ate taco bell, burger king, arby's, mcdonalds, etc. every day for lunch in high school. But now I can't really eat the crap. I didn't stop eating it because it wasn't good, just that I don't have the money to eat it. When I ate at McDonalds in November, I ended up sick. My stomach couldn't handle it. Taco bell was a little different, because they have pretty high quality food. But once you get off that crap for an extended period of time, you can't eat it.

I'm done with that crappy processed food and fast food for the most part. It just isn't good. If I'm too lazy to really go and prepare something, I'll just make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich or a bowl of cereal.
