Best new scifi series is The Expanse. It's moving from Syfy to Amazon and the first 3 season are there.

A close second is Star Trek Discovery.

The original Mission Impossible on TV was one of my favorite series...also the Wild Wild West but I'm surprised Mediocre Man didn't weigh in with Hogan's Heroes...

M*A*S*H is my all time favorite tv show. I started watching it in it's 1st season when I was only 7 or 8 years old.

Some of my other favorite tv shows:

Star Trek
Star Trek: The Next Generation
Married... with Children
Scrubs
Grey's Anatomy
The Walking Dead

In addition to the ones mentioned before I think sons of anarchy is underrated.

I agree as well as Justified which I really enjoyed. Being in my mid 60's makes a long list of shows available to choose from plus the technological differences in yesterdays shows as compared to today makes it difficult to compare. Here are some of my favorites through the years

Youth years
Looney Tunes
Flinstones
The Jetsons
Twilight Zone
Outer Limits
Combat
Mr. Ed
Rifleman
McHales Navy
Rin Tin Tin
Gilligans Island

Adult Years
The Wire
Seinfield
Coach
Cheers
Miami Vice
Spartacus
Justified
Intelligence

There are so many but this is a beginning list for me.

There's no slams in here. Sly is too much of a gentleman to call you out on this but I will.

How about a Senior Slam at Dennys

Not to date myself too much, but how about St. Elsewhere?

For dramas, I would also vote for Breaking Bad and Lost. For comedy, Seinfeld and I Love Lucy.

Best new comedy - Atlanta.

Holy shit, you can not binge watch that show. Too much fucked up shit happens. You just have to watch one episode and just let it sit. Very dark comedy.

Lost was good for so long, then it was absolute garbage. The ending soured me on it forever.

Saved By The Bell.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer (actually anything Joss Whed0n does)

New show - Killing Eve (only 1 season so far but so good I watched all the episodes twice)

Dragnet
I love Lucy
Star Trek
Columbo
Quincy MD
Mash
WKRP
Gilligans Island
Matlock
Star Trek:TNG
Star Trek: Voyager
Cheers
Quantum Leap
Knight Rider
Twilight Zone
Outer Limits
Alfred Hitchcock Presents
The Munsters
Taxi
Roseanne
Night Court
Married With Children
Northern Exposure
Twin Peaks
Saved by the Bell
Home Improvement
Full House
Friends
Sienfield
Law and Order
Law and Order SVU
The X Files
The Simpsons
Bob's Burgers
ER
House
Monk
Breaking Bad
Stranger Things
Last Man on Earth
The Good Doctor
Project Bluebook

There are so many more

Bad ass show. My wife and I pretty much binged watch that. Some brutal shit.

Star Trek: The Next Generation

Greys Anatomy is my wife's favorite show. She seems to be constantly cussing out Shonda Rhimes for killing off favorite characters then saying how amazing she is the next episode.

Two shows that are not talked about anymore that I really liked were Titus and Grounded for Life

Current shows that I can't miss are GoT, Better Call Saul, Top Chef.

Re-watching Deadwood now prepping for the movie. A case could be made Deadwood is the best show ever.

I'd like to add Parker Lewis Can't Lose to the forgotten list

I liked M*A*S*H and Hazel.

Oh and Bossom Buddies.
When I was a kid we had a cook/maid who's name was Hazel. It was before the TV show. She loved little 12 year old Lanny and my younger brother. She got a pittance for a salary in addition to her room and board. Every Christmas she would spend a large chunk of her salary savings on Christmas presents for me and my brother. God Bless her, she was so kind.

I knew a girl named Hazel once, she was a pittance. I don't thinks he liked Lanny or his brother though.

No love for the Sopranos yet? That show we pretty bad ass. Breaking Bad was great. Seinfeld tops the list for comedy. Not sure about the best ever, depends on what criteria and what time of day you ask me, there are a lot of good suggestions in this thread.
