Let’s run the old senile guy and hope nobody notices he’s old and senile and then when everyone inevitably does notice, we’ll just hide him from the public and deny it and say things like “debates don’t matter”.

It’s really, really fucking obvious what’s going on and what the Democrats damage control plan is.

It is very much a stretch. I do see the humor in playing the clip of what he said about disinfectants and then cutting forward to the image of the “best practices” illustration, but it’s a contextual fallacy to equate that with telling people to chug bleach.

I'll take Kamala Harris as the back up point guard over Mike Pence anyday.....and it's not even close....Joe is just going to mentor her for the next election...make sure she knows the ropes...I think she'll be one of the most dynamic vice presidents in modern history...Joe Biden will sign documents and build teams to work on problems...Joe Biden will listen to his morning briefings...unlike Trump. Trump doesn't know how to do any of these things which as president is damned scary....Harris will be like Dick Cheney....the actual leader of the executive office while Bush did the photo ops.....

Right, because they hid him from debates during the primary. Granted, he wasn't a particularly good debater, but no one (then) claimed he was senile or suffering from dementia. That's a right-wing meme that particularly extreme and trollish conservatives have been trying to peddle ever since they realized that "he's a pedophile" wasn't gaining any traction with the general public.

People of average and above average intelligence understand that a documented case of stuttering and the fact that he misspoke commonly even as a young man, with maybe some age-related decline factored in, explains his current lack of eloquence. It takes galaxy brain types like you to realize that none of that is relevant, it's actually a DNC conspiracy to run a functionally-dead man Weekend-at-Bernie's style for President to finally let the Deep State run the government with no resistance, which was always the real end-game.

I think the more apt approach for Republicans or 'conservatives' when it comes to Joe and Kamala is that. Kamala straight up said that she believed Joe's accusers on the sexual assault stuff, and also during the debates said his policies would have kept her from getting an education... So there is definitely some room for 'hitting' a weak point there. I think that does lean into maybe Joe had some, 'help' with picking Kamala. She can say that stuff was just a 'debate', but that kinda says something about her doesn't it?

Joe's 'gaffe's', while I think no one can deny they occur more than what people would prefer. Trump matches if not surpasses him as the gift that keeps on giving for the meme machines. So if saying stupid things or communicating badly is the argument well I think that's a weak point for both even if I think it's different in how it plays out.

Not sure what that says about the US as a country if this is what it comes down to for our commander and chief but here we are...

For sure, just saying if I was going a political strategist that's probably where I'd go. I know it's not unheard of for politicians to suddenly like each other when it benefits them.

Also the endless attacks trump did on Ted Cruz with attacking his family and then Cruz later on sucks up to trump. Republicans didn't seem to think that was a problem either but yet they attack Harris for her comments. The Republican party has become the party of hypocrisy.
