I am pleased by his dedication however, it will take alot more than that to give Shaq a tough time. I doubt he will be able to do it this season. Maybe Next?

Nazr won't be able to stop Shaq. No one can, in this day in age, and very few people from history could stop him. He is just too big. But my prayers go out to him and his family when they meet and he learns why he is called the Shaq Diesel.

Nazr is good he's probably my favorite player thats not a "star", its not Nazr it's Shaq he's unstoppable. I dont think anyone can stop Shaq, unless its like Brad Miller or Jermaine O'neal its practically impossible.

In no way will Nazr stop shaq. But I do remember, despite not getting a alot of minutes his 1st couple years in Philly, he use to always see minutes in the matchups, against Shaq & LA. And Nazr use to handle himself pretty well in those minutes matchup up against Shaq. Defensively, he use to be really willing to throw his body around to deter Shaq, so Iam guessing thats where the Knicks are gaining their confidence in Mohammad in a matchup against Shaq. But if the Knicks where to ever meet the Heat in a 7 game playoff series, it would really be difficult because the Knicks are a team full of power forwards, really(Vin Baker, Kurt Thomas, Mike Sweetny,etc). That frontlines just to small vs Shaq.

Ridiculous that it's thought by some that Mohammed could stop Shaq. In fact, it's rather sad. If people would watch more Knicks games these days they'd realize taht Mohhamed is so stupid on defense and offense that Shaq would <u>rip him apart.</u> Mohammed just doesn't have it in him.

Yes Mohammed is stupid and is lousy(I remember the days when two tall solid white guys donned Knick uniforms...). And its ridiculous to think he can stop Shaq. But we have to figure out a way to get by Shaq if we meet him in the playoffs which will most likely be in the semifinals. My idea to beat Shaq is instead of starting our usual line up which will most likely be:
PG-Marbury
SG-Houston
SF-Tim Thomas
PF-Kurt Thomas
C-Nazr Mohammed
We start Crawford at the 2 and the JYD at the 4 so that we can start off with a running team which should cause some problems for Shaq. And when Shaq goes out we put in Baker at the 5, Houston at the 2, Penny at the 1 and Anderson at the 3(on defense they can switch up so there wont be any mismatches). Then when Shaq comes in maybe put the unit that started the game back in. Hopefully this'll wear Shaq down and if not we always Mengke Bateer who can hack Shaq.
