Biggest turn around in a season?

But the Spurs turn-around involved a super-star returning from injury and a new superstar rookie. The Blazers turn-around involves basically the same core. We just upgraded our bench a tad and got a role playing center. So I think this one is more impressive

True. If we come back and win a title, I would put it up there with one of the best.

I'd say it is THE best if they pull it off. No one has ever lost a top 10 player to injury and go bust on a #1 pick and still recover right away

The only team I can think of would be the Spurs after they had the worst record when Robinson was out with injury. The next year, after they got Duncan, they made it to the finals.

We were the worst team in the league, so I would give them an edge

No. Spurs did not make it to Finals in Duncan's rookie year.

Didn't the Spurs make a huge jump Robinson's rookie year, by the way?

Yeah, 21 wins in 89 to 56 wins in 90. Also had Sean Elliott as a rookie that year too, traded for Terry Cummings, and picked up Mo Cheeks, who they then traded for Strickland. Five of their top six scorers were new additions.
