Then he's a double threat because he's the best post player I ever saw.Walton is quite possibly, the best announcer of all time.

You saw Walton play IN PERSON ??!! AS A BLAZER ?!!![]()

thisSorry guys, he makes watching the games almost unwatchable. It would be one thing if he actaully was funny, but he really isn’t. I think he gets a pass in these parts by viewers because of his history here.
I was there also. Pre teen....barelyWhat you laugh’n about boy? I saw game 6 in person, June 5, 1977. [I was finishing up grade 10]![]()

I like Bill....I just think he sucks at broadcasting more often than not...I live in Lane County....hippies are alive and well trust meI will never understand the hate for Bill Walton. He's different. So fucking what?! Remember we used to have people like that. Before we shot them up with tranquilizers and castigated them. I grew up with old hippies. They were my family and their friends, basically. You find out cool things from old hippies about Frank Zappa and drugs. Bill is just an extention of that weird subculture that is rapidly disappearing.

Our only championship !! I still lived in LA back then so I never saw Walton play not even at UCLA. My dad did take me to see West and Chamberlain and the Lakers in '72 though. My first basketball love
I was there also. Pre teen....barely
My dad was a huge basketball fan (in his youth) and went to see the Bruins practice when they had Jabbar. He said the practice was better than the games themselves. He said the games were basically like warmups.
