anyone reached prestige yet?

this is what I'm using currently...

pic was a red x for me, but when I right click it says FAMAS in the file so I assume its that. Which is my gun of choice as well. I use it with the Hardline Perk, Warlord (Red Dot and Extended Mag) and Last Chance Pro. Dammit the pro perks are hard to get now, which scares me from Prestiging lol.

I'm torn between PC and PS3. I usually only do FPS games on the PC. I just find a mouse and keyboard more effective than a controller.

I'm torn between PC and PS3. I usually only do FPS games on the PC. I just find a mouse and keyboard more effective than a controller.

Nevermind the PC being more graphically advanced, better connectivity (once they fix this lag bullshit), easier to maneuver, better voice communication, easier to multitask, easy to start the game up real quick and get a game in... There is no reason to choose console over PC.

its kinda like the xbox equivelant of when you turn on the console with the new game or for the first time in a while and it says "an update is available" and it makes you download it...

Yeah, one reason why PC can be awesome or shitty. Lots of patches. Annoying to download but there are lots of them so most games get fixed up pretty nicely after their release.

yeah if you played online you have it. It wont let you go online to play without the newest patch.

In the WAGER modes.

You basically have to fork over points to play... if you do well, you win more points than you paid... like gambling.

gotcha. I havent ventured into the wager mode. But I do purchase a lot of contracts on the Player matches. Its also like gambling.. but you dont have to rely on 1 vs 1 gaming.

yeah you can purchase them after like level 12 or something.. where you have a certain amount of gametime to perform the feat. I.E. One I did last night was I had 40 minutes of alive time (not match time or respawning time etc) to get a 5 kill streak with an Assault Rifle. You use the credits you have to purchase the contract, but the payout is bigger etc. I think this contract cost me 100 Credits but completing it I got $600 credits and 600XP. Its a pretty cool addition to the game IMO.
