Rumor Blake Griffin for LMA clickbait rumor

I love how that guy says Griffin is better than Aldridge. I don't think it's that cut and dry.
Griffin has had three triple doubles in these playoffs. Aldridge hasn't had a triple double ever, I don't think.

If CP3 were on the team LMA could get a triple double. CP3 opens the court more for his teammates than Lillard does.

But two of those 3 Triple-Doubles by Blake were without CP3 weren't they? At least one was I know.

I don't think Griffin is better than Aldridge. Well, except maybe in commercials.

Apparently Paul makes $4mil a year from Nike and about $2 mill a year combined from his other endorsers for a total of $6 mil a year now.

Wow... that's pretty low. Is that gross or net?

Swapping Aldridge for Blake Griffin increases the Clippers championship odds considerably.

As for "marketing", BG is on the FUCKING CLIPPERS still. If he went to Portland, I can see Nike pumping more money into him. It'd be fun to watch for sure. He'd probably hate going to Portland due to the lack of fly model girls and nightlife.

So, Levi's paid $220 million to sponsor Levi Stadium for 20 years, or you can just get Chris Paul to be your spokesman? I think I would take the spokesman.

Lillards one of the top 5 endorsed players in the NBA playing in Portland. So would it really be that tough for BG endorsement-wise?

And he and Dame could do the foot locker stuff together haha

I'll just say that Blake in Portland is a natural fit. The guy could pick up part time work on Grimm. He could practically do wessen without makeup.

"I wonder if..."

This is not a rumor.

It's a hypothetical. The Clippers have no reason to even consider this.
I know. It's like "here are a bunch of reasons why this won't happen. I wonder if it will happen?" WTF?

This just in......
The Blazers are now looking at a four team deal that would include trades of Aldridge, Love, Griffin and Anthony Davis. All four players are expected to play on a team next year somewhere. It's not exactly clear just yet when and where any of them will actually end up but it is reasonably certain that there will be many options and opinions.
The addition of Davis to this scenario is contingent to some past statements made by Monty Williams saying how much he loved his time with the Blazers and of course this must mean he will have an impact on Davis to make a decision on where he wants to play in the future.

Hey...Seems like anyone can get on the rumor mill right?

Tim Duncan to the Trailblazers!!!!!

Clippers wouldn't consider it. Griffin is the better player for the last two years. He carried the team when Paul was injured for an extended period last year. Griffin was one of the most overrated players in the league his first few years because all he did was dunk but he improved his game so much to become a legit MVP candidate and now is one of the most underrated. He creates much more efficient scoring opportunities for himself and others. He lead the NBA in dunk lobs thrown, not dunked himself but thrown assists. He averaged 7.4 assists per game against the Spurs while Aldridge is always below 2. The Clippers continue to have the most efficient offense in the league even better than the Warriors. They are good on defense too. Griffin has been the best player in the playoffs. In 5 years of playoffs LMA has a series record of 1-5 while being the best player in two games.

I don't think Blake Griffin has been the best player in the playoffs at all....he's been great but not the best. Chris Paul willed them to a win with Barnes hitting 3s..Tony Allen shutting down the Warriors has been the best player to me

Tony Allen isn't even the 3rd most important person on his team. He's an awesome role player but without Conley his defense is less impressive and the team lost. Clippers have been great without CP3.
