This is very similar to how I used to feel about the Dallas Cowboys. Back when the Niners and Cowboys had a huge rivalry, I hated that team with every fiber of my being, but they were shitty for so long that I stopped hating them. It got to the point where I actually felt sorry for them because I think it's sad when a storied franchise sinks that low for that long. I don't think I'll ever feel sorry for Laker fans because they're all such complete douchebags, but I can definitely see myself getting to the point where I don't care about the Lakers.

Right now I hate LAC and Houston MUCH MUCH more.
