Blazer games on Seattle radio next season

And I am not going to like this...why exactly?

Canzano, "Why does Paul Allen want Blazer games broadcast in Seattle? I'll tell you why, because my sources tell me that Paul Allen is getting ready to move the team there. Okay Blazer fans, for the next 2 hours call in and tell me how you feel about Paul Allen's evil plan."

Apparently you missed his tweet about not meaning they are moving

No worries, after the Olympics he'll have Dwight Jaynes on saying that the Blazers are secretly for sale only to people who want to move the team to Seattle.

Really? Did u make that up? ;)

Dag nabbit. Where'd I put my tin foil hat....

Personally, I want the Blazers games broadcast in every city in North America and Western Europe. Starting with Seattle. (That's gotta sting for Sonics fans.)

Yeah I don't see why any Blazer fan would have a problem with this.. Silly Canzano, bullshit is for bulls!

I could maybe see how some hardcore Sonics fans having a problem with this. Doesn't bother me at all.

Sounds like the Blazers want to see if they can make any kind of inroads as a regional basketball team for the whole Northwest instead of mainly being just about oregon. Good for them I guess, though I don't see it gathering a huge following.

Oh, I'm sorry. I meant to say "Rabble, rabble, rabble, rabble." That should make Johnny boy feel better.

It's simply diabolical. I'm so appalled and affronted that I wasn't even able to finish my new Dulce de Leche Cheerios upon hearing the news. Another cheerful day ruined by John Can'tzano.

We should all drive up to Seattle and destroy every radio tower so they cannot listen to our beloved Blazers!

I just got a mental image of John Belushi (RIP), in a mental mash up of 1941 and Animal House.

I think this is a good idea. So are we dressing up as realistic pirates or just gay showtune ones?

Realistic. Plus we can "hire" a bunch of homeless people (who am I kidding? we'll just tell them Seattle is giving away free fortified wine) to man the "ship" and save money on costumes.

Which will kill two birds with one stone once they reach Seattle and realize there's no whine, they'll most definitely run amok.

Heck, I'm a huge fan of it. As it's been, I'd periodically try to tune in up here in a stupid hope the radiowaves would somehow be friendly. Wonder which station they'll be on.

Three birds maybe? Some of them might stay in Seattle too!

Expanding your fan base seems like a good idea, but that's not what is happening. Blazers games are not currently available on radio in about 3/4th of Oregon. Seems like that's where you'd want to expand, in the team's home state.

Unless of course you were planning to move the team to Seattle.

We want to listen to the Mariners because we're secretly getting ready to buy them and move them to Portland. :biglaugh:

SWEET! Are they going to play in the soon to be single A baseball "stadium" in Hillsboro? The Hillsboro Mariners? Makes as much sense as the Memphis Grizzlies or Utah Jazz. I like it!
