You know what's funny? Women who are naturally large virtually universally - I mean, it'd be hard to find any exceptions - hate the attention. One reporter commented that it seems the fastest way to make a woman a man-hater is to give her an oversized bosom. Women talk bitterly about how they can't leave their homes without being subjected to stares, comments, lip-smacking, vulgar noises, men walking up to them and saying "you have big tits" like they didn't know, even being grabbed and pinched by total strangers. And nothing to do with clothing, they can be wearing gunny sacks.

I read a study (I'm one of those geeks who actually reads studies) that women who get reduced have a much higher level of satisfaction than women who get enlarged. Partly it's physical. Very small breasted women may feel unattractive but do not suffer physical pain, while very large breasted women (and they generally are in their 30s or even 40s by the time they have surgery) have had excruciating back, neck and shoulder pain for decades. Just relieving that is enough to make them feel satisfied. Moreover, many of these women report that they are able to engage in physical exercise for the first time.

But a lot of it is expectations. Some very small women get modest implants in hopes of a curvier figure, they get that and are satisfied. But too many are very unrealistic. They think implants will turn them into Pamela Anderson. They will be gorgeous and sexy, wear slinky clothes, and men will go crazy for them and their lives will be transformed. In the end, their lives have not changed. While plus size women are not trying to be gorgeous, they are just trying to be normal - a much more realistic goal. They are not looking to wear sexy clothes and be noticed, they just want to buy ordinary clothes from an ordinary store and be not noticed.

Another study, very interesting. A prof showed college business students, evenly divided between men and women, a video of a woman giving a talk on career choices. All saw the same woman, wearing the same business clothes, give the same talk, and were asked to rate her on knowledge, professionalism, etc. The only difference was the researcher used computer tricks to adjust her bust size, from flat chested, small, medium, just above average, large, really big. While the women students did not seem impacted, among the men, the bigger her bust the lower she was ranked in her professionalism, knowledge, et al. Interesting, no?

So, any results on the levels of satisfaction of men who get penile enlargements vs. reductions? And does any man ever get his penis reduced?

I know many well-endowed women who never get groped and I'm sure never have guys go up to them and tell them that they have big tits.

Not sure how old your study is, but go to LA (or heck even front row at a Blazer game) and you will find a large number of girls who have fake boobs, unproportionate to their body. Its an attention thing, sure some might have them done for their boyfriend or husband. But, many of these women dress their fake boobs up to a bare minimum and obviously love the attention they get from guys looking at them.

As for your first paragraph, really? Where do they live? If there is a place where any woman can avoid men making personal vulgar remarks about her body in public, I want to live there. Are you sure because you've asked or are you assuming? Seriously.

As for your second, my point. It was said some women get disproportionate fake boobs to be noticed, but I said women who are naturally disproportionately large intensely dislike the notice.

Honestly, I truly cannot understand how straight men can get off on something they know is just plastic. Why not just buy a Barbie doll? (or maybe I shouldn't go there)
 
I have never made a vulgar remark about a woman's body in public, i'm classy like that.

Born and bred in Oregon, I've never really noticed men being rude and vulgar to women anywhere, anytime, not even where it might be expected like a strip club.

We're kind of old-fashioned that way, hold doors for them, defend their honor...

I did spend a year in LA where rudeness to all mankind is the order of the day.

Have you ever felt one? I never have so I don't know what they feel like. If you couldn't tell by touching them would it still bother you? Just curious. I mean if you fell for a gal and was in a relationship would you dump her if you found out she had implants?

I'm with you actually. For one thing I don't like really big tits on a woman. I like them proportional to their body.

I was once at a topless bar and you could tell the dancer had implants because there was a scar under each breast. That was a total turn off. I heard that they now go in under the arm pit?

That's it. But I have to tell you, there is nothing more fun than sitting around with your buddies, drinking, and rating all the girls you collectively know. Such a blast. And so many arguments come of it.

If I remember correctly, you could have sex with a 9 if you're drunk, any thing under 9 and we employ the "don't ask don't tell" rule.
