Here is the place to say positive things about the season and bring up the good points about plays or games.
Don't think we can get better than 34 feet and a wave but this season provided quite a bit of entertainment and a bunch of growth that all of us can be proud of.

Go Blazers!

Thank you for this thread.

Dear Blazers,

this was the best team in 20 yrs and these players gave me so much joy this season when i fucking needed it. Had one of the worst years of my life and this was my outlet. 3 hours for nearly 100 nights a year and the countless hours i spent here was my release from the horrible reality. This TEAM was special. I got so much happiness this year when i needed it most.

Thank you. I want even more next year.

There was a pretty good run of games that got them where they were. It's really something special to see the way this team pulled together to end the season. A lot of teams and players would have given a bunch less.

The resiliency is what I'm gonna remember. The 4 OT game, winning game 6 against DEN, the closeout game 7 on the road and even tonight, what a team man. We could have laid down tonight.

I can't believe I'm seeing so many people complaining. We went to the WCF and lost to the GSW, the champions. That was a great season a a great run! I would not trade Dame for Steph curry if I could. It would probably just be the same just PG switching teams. I'm super proud of this team!

People are just letting go of that last bit of steam before the offseason.

Can't really expect everyone to be in the best spirits on the last day of the season.

Why not? Beats being a raving soccer mom on the last night of the season!

So this year we got to see game winners by CJ, Dame and Harkless. Who am i forgetting?

I know I’ll feel better tomorrow.
Deep down, I loved watching this team fight, I loved them fighting harder after Nurk went down. I loved the contributions they got from guys like Jake, Rodney, Seth, and Zach this year.
Tonight the competitive side of me is like how the heck do you lose 3 in a row where your up 17+!!!!
Tomorrow, Ill look back and be glad they had a great season and realize these last 4 games arent everything, they at least tasted some success in the post season this year.

And in the end all we really get is memories.
I'll probably never Forget:

-Losing Paul Allen 3 days prior to season.
- Beating LeBron's Lakers on opening night.
- Beating the Warriors in OT in Oakland.
-Watching Yusuf Nurkic grow both on and off the court.
-Jake Layman for a month!

And.... I Will Never Ever For Sure Forget:

March 25...Watching a young man who I adore suffer the most gruesome injury...just when thoughts of what this team could possibly do where becoming very exciting. The feeling of total emptiness..the toughest gut punch yet....again...
-CJ's injury as well.
- Watching Seth step up for CJ.
-Watching Enes Kanter step up for Nurk and how he played against Denver with thevpain he was in battling Jokic and how every single one of us became a "Kanter fan for life.."
- Rodney Hood so clutch against Denver.
-Winning a Game 7 on the road.
- Hating OKC and beating them.

And....
The 37 footer....
I'll always remember my girlfriend coming into the living room 10-15 mins afterwards and the look on her face as she asked me " Are YOU Crying?"...and to find out I wasn't alone.

Thank You to the players, media, and everything everyone, including everyone here at S2 for welcoming me who added to the MEMORIES from what was a fantastic season..as much as I could have hoped for.
Sometimes Love hurts.
I Love this team.
Peace.

Blazers,

Thank you for the amazing season. 53 wins, including a home opener win against Lebron's Lakers, a thumping of Golden State, a comeback game at the end of the season with the end of the bench. The postseason was just as spectacular. An opening series winner by Dame from the logo over the Thunder. A 4OT win over Denver as well as a triumphant game 7. I have never seen a team overcome so much adversity. Though they couldn't overcome injuries and fatigue to beat the Warriors, I know the future is bright. Our time will come. Paul Allen would be proud. I know I am. I look forward to next season.

Always and Forever a fan

Chris

Despite the immediate disappointment we're all feeling, The Blazers gave us 2 extremely exciting and victorious playoff series, and flirted with victory 3 times in this Western Conference Finals.

This will be the first year in nearly 2 decades that I started fishing this late in the spring, and I am already stoked about next season.

If there's a particular player or coach you'd like to thank, this is the spot. If not, please don't post here.

A Tip of The Cap to A Real NBA Basketball Player, Meyers Leonard.

Disappointing loss but cannot complain with how the Blazers performed overall in the playoffs. Before the OKC series, just about all of the "experts" picked the Thunder. Blazers win in 5. Then the Blazers go down 3-2 to Denver and have the task of winning a game 7 on the road. They did just that. Now I know they blew three straight games where they had double digit leads which makes it painful, but we were playing the most dominant team in the NBA for the last five years. I enjoyed the ride this year. Excited to have Nurk back and hoping we can make some upgrades or an upgrade at the Forward position(s).

I think it's kinda cool how everyone on the team had their moments in the playoffs.

Kanter had a huge 1st series.
Aminu game 3 of the Thunder series
Mo had multiple big games
Curry 16 points and 3 steals against Steph
Hood game winner and overall series against Denver
Collins game 6 Denver
Meyers 30 point career high
Hell even Turner played huge in game 7

Dear Blazers,
You have had an amazing run. You brought us to the WCF. Where in all honesty I think you ran out of gas. Do not despair where as most teams you battled their playoff run started when the regular season ended which they cruised to the end and rested players. Yours started in March with 2 injuries and still managed to climb the ladder and secure home court advantage. Hold your head high and do not despair your true fans know the real deal not some commentator looking to increase his headlines by kicking you when you are down. Thank You Portland Trailblazers for an amazing season the likes we have not seen in many years. This thank you comes from my family to all of you at the Blazers organization

Got a pretty big void to fill today. The obvious is to fill it with work. Fishing sounds better. Maybe a little of both.

Blazers OT record 5 wins and 3 losses.
Not sure i remember 8 OT's in a season and a record that good?

Here is another thing to be thankful for. Dame gonna be even more determined to get to the next level.
