usually they will respond to the Orlando or Indiana media when they are targeted...Terry hasn't responded...now Rick Carlisle is on the hot seat and Terry could easily go back there...he's probably retiring...
Today an article aired about Carlisle being on his way out in Dallas.....probably rumor but that's what I read.
people being targeted is pure speculation, has nothing to do with logic....just scuttlebutt around the offseason rumor mill and Mike D'Antoni did say he wanted to coach in Portland....Jason Kidd and Juwan Howard said they don't....that's candidates saying things

That article only talks about Terry Stotts and his wife Jan. It says "they do not have children" but i do not know about his life before hand and if he had ever had any children at all?
I get the distinct feeling Terry is retiring....he's been completely off the grid as far as engaging the media about coaching . We lost one of the highest character coaches to ever coach the game but I think there's a contingency of fans that has to hate the coach and front office going waaayyy back....I think it really hurts the franchise all in all to plant doubt into something you really want to see succeed. I'm cheering for Chauncey and hope Terry just enjoys the hell out of his life in Portland now.
