Wow. I didn't realize it til Canzano mentioned it his recent column. It's true. The other 14 teams have all won at least one round. Amazing. We suck.

Stunted by horrible management.

John Nash administration.

Steve Patterson administration.

Kevin Pritchard administration.

Rich Cho fiasco.

Paul Allen the micro-manager.

Greg Oden set this franchise back a decade.

:shootme:

damn blazers suck ass, im a niner fan too, wtf

Further proof that nice guys finish last.

At least we have our fucking fan pledge.

Fortunately, we're in the category of "winning a championship in the last 35 years." That's something that GSW, LAC, UTH, DEN, MIN, PHX, SAC, DAL, NOH, MEM can't say.

those guys suck worse. See, I can pick arbitrary timelines as well.

None of those teams went to the playoffs for 20 straight years either.

Next year is our year. Wallace will have a full year with the team, LaMarcus will become an All-Star, and Matthews will continue to grow. I'm already excited for the next season.

If 4 other teams hadn't won a playoff series in the past 10 years, would people feel better?

This seems like a totally irrelevant stat.

I would feel better if 14 other western teams hadn't won a playoff series in the past 10 years.

In the playoffs, it's championship or nothing.

I'd rather it be that we've had unlucky playoff positions the last 3 years and lose the series rather than be a team that could win a series but hardly put up a fight against a contending team (such as DAL, PHX, and HOU).

We've got another good decade ahead of us. In that time, we can win some series but more importantly, win the championship.

Unless we're injured every year for the next 10 years....in which case, we're ****ed.

The fact that we haven't won a playoff series in 10 years should bother people. I don't care how many other teams have won, it doesn't change the fact that we haven't.

None of those teams were stupid enough to blow up a very talented team and get nothing in return just because the newspaper told them to.

We are now entering our 3rd complete rebuild (players and management) after 2 failed attempts since that time.

Best young coach in the whole wide world.

Just ask Kobe and Mike krazuzki

Nate Lovers tell me how so very awesome he is again.

I love it.

I think people forget the predecessors Nate had here in Portland - does anyone question that he is better than Cheeks, Dumbleavy or Carlesimo?

People love to point out imperfections but they rarely have solutions to the problems they complain about.

Rick Adelman has never won a title as a coach, hasn't been to the Finals in 20 years, missed the playoffs the past two seasons, got passed over by the Lakers for their job in favor of Mike Brown, and just basically got fired by Houston, yet he's supposed to be a huge upgrade.

Compared to Nate? of course he's an upgrade over Nate. Adelman's about 10% better in winning % in both the regular season and playoffs, has made the post season 16 out of 20 seasons as a head coach compared to Nate's 5 out of 11, and you can rip on him for not winning it all but lets not forget that in 11 years as a head coach Nate has 1 playoff series win to his name.

I think you totally missed the point of his post

Better than Cheeks and Carlesimo? Yes. Better than "Dumbleavy"? Not based on record he isn't.

If you only look at their record with the Blazers, Mike D had more success than Nate.
