Not surprising, we are the "least experienced" in the last 3 years than all the other ones in the playoff besides Phoenix, and they have a lethal two guard attack. But, that serves to your point of the "surprise aspect" ala GSW with Dallas.
 
If they make it then I would much rather face PHX in the first round if I was another team. I could see us after that though.
 
I'm not sure we win even one game in the playoffs, but I wouldn't be shocked if we win 8. It's just such a craps shoot.

I have us anywhere between zero and two wins, inclusive.
 
Reminds me of a few years ago when everyone (especially us) wanted Dallas in the first round.....they ended up winning it all.
 
Depending on what Blazer team shows up, they all maybe sorry too.

I'm still waiting for the real team to show themselves.
 
So sad that the defending champion Lakers couldn't even win a game against them.
 
Bring em on! In some ways you want to play tougher teams early if your team is healthy. The Dallas comparison is a good one. I'd rather face Golden State as far as being beatable, but there aren't any easy matchups in the west
 
Enough talking. It's time to play the games.
 
Everyone wants us because we have the second worst D of all the potential playoff teams in the west. Everyone is talking about that aspect of it and forgetting we also have the best offensives in the west as well.
 
chris_at_pdx wrote a fabulous post afterwards basically saying the Lakers reign was finally over.
 
If MEM doesn't make the Playoffs can we sell them our spot for their lotto pick? Good move for both teams, good for the league.

If we could sell our spot in the playoffs I'd rather sell it to the Lakers. We watch LA get swept, and get a great lotto pick.

Do you all see us getting out of the first round? I personally only see it if we play HOU and if they aren't healthy by then. An other potential matchup? We go home early.

Of course, we put up a 17 point lead on HOU on their own floor. They were damn lucky to win that game. Come the playoffs, who knows? All I know is I don't fear them anymore.
 
Everybody wants a first round exit? Doesn't make sense to me. Longer summer break perhaps?
 
I follow the team because I enjoy it, and it's a diversion to things the really matter. Calling a playoff appearance a "failure" is something that would never cross my mind. To each their own, though!
