Blazers are working on setting up some viewing parties for first 2 road games

Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

Talking to the Blazers this morning. They are working on setting up some viewing parties for the first 2 road games. I have put in a request for them to reserve us a table or two.

As soon as I know the details I will post them here. These events usually include Blazer Dancers and swag.
I'll provide the swag as I walk in the room. The dancers are up to you to provide.

Can S2 fly me in from out of town to join? We can make it a whole big story - great for content.
Absolutely. Go to any ticket counter at the Airport and say charge my ticket to S2 and they will escort you and your significant other. You can thank me later.

I'll probably be there tomorrow, won't be until close to 6 since i have a training until 5, but yes.

Your not watching with me and Eric

We just checked the prices. You don’t wanna know.
I'll tell. I sold all 12 of my tickets in less than three hours and I was getting $1,200 to $1,400 per ticket. The ticket prices went up for the match against Denver and now they've gone up more for the WCF match.
My seats? 2 seats in row 4 in non court side seating of one of the two center court sections. 4 seats in row 2 of the non court side seats right above the visiting team.

Well that is seats.
The question was about the suites. Best we could find was $36,000 but that was for only 16 people. The one we wanted was not available but was $50.000+
You gotta want to make some people pretty happy to spend 50K on them.

A skybox is a suite and the cost of it is pretty high. Yep @SlyPokerDog needs to get it comped.

Unless i am totally off base here and there are actual "Skyboxes" at the Moda that are not suites? Maybe a Slybox?

A skybox isn't a suite. It's a suite lite.

Nah. They are all suites. You have studio suites and executive suites. There are mid court and behind the basket like main seating.

Suites ring the arena and are located between the 200 and 300 levels. Skyboxes are in just one corner of the arena above sections 313-316. Skyboxes cost significantly less than suites.

So give me the low down on these? They don't even come up for sale?
There are a total of 8 boxes, and when you buy a box, you get (I believe) 16 tickets. Last time I was part of a group who purchased one, it was about $600 for the box, which came out to about 37.50/ticket, for a regular season game against the Pelicans in November (a couple years back). Similar to the suites, each box has a community area to hang out in, with a separate seating area below, although the skyboxes have long leather (vinyl?) couches instead of individual seats. Still enough to seat 12 though. Unlike the suites, which each have their own private bathroom, the 8 skyboxes have one community restroom that is only accessible by skybox attendees. The staircase between sections 314-315 goes up into the skybox level, and there's an usher parked there to make sure none of the unwashed masses make their way into the hallowed halls.

No idea about purchasing them, but I imagine their limited availability would be the reason you have to be contacted back.

Do they hand out tissues for the nose bleeds. Heck, i would need binoculars for that high up.

I can't see very well from that far away. I had eye surgery a few years ago and only really have one good eye now.

oh...then yeah...um...binoculars
