Phew! That was close--great game to watch. Love the heart these guys are playing with.

Tank rolls on. Glad for the loss, even better in entertaining fashion. I think we move to 10th after this game.

How many times does Nic have to be ignored when he is wiiiiide fucking open?

The Kingspeed Curse lives on.

The perfect tank. Entertaining, tense, and lost on a bad non call. Perfect!

Alright enough anger over that.

This is exactly how you want to lose a game. Crawful and Ray need to GTFO.

Great play - but if Griffin can hack you at the hoop, what's the point?

Perfect game to watch for this season. The team played hard, and Matthews, Hickson, and some of the others fail to pull it out at the end.

Fun game, makes people want to watch the team, yet still a part of Operation Tank.

Damn. Golden State lost tonight also, so we gain no ground on them. They are very good tankers.

Moral victory. The Refs gave the Clippers the game on a number of horrible calls and non-calls.

Is Hickson really this good? Sacremento must feel stupid for waiving him. He should be starting!

There's gotta be little bit of contractitis going on here, but I think he does some things that carry over no matter what. He can dribble, he can catch the ball on the roll and finish and he's athletic. I don't know what you can expect from him in the future, but I wouldn't mind seeing the Blazers give him 5-6 million.

Hickson has been impressive in just about every game so far. I was thinking Portland should go after Landry as a backup forward, but forget that, sign JJ Hickson!

Sad to see people being happy with a loss like this.

Hickson has checked at times on a rookie contract, and is playing now for a "coach" whose best attribute seems to be flailing his arms while running up and down the coaching box.

I'd hate to be the team that gives him $24m/4 years. Hope it's not Portland under the new cap rules.

It's not happiness, it's accepting reality. I was pulling for Portland to win, but I just can't feel bad about the loss, given the circumstances.

good ol' ESPN. As far as they're concerned, the Blazers are the Generals.

I guess I'm happy for the entertaining loss inching them closer to a better pick, but tonight was yet another reminder of how Portland will always be behind the 8 ball with the league and media. The only way Portland ever gets close to an even playing field is having a nationally marketable superstar.

STOMP

Yup yup.

This is a win/win situation.

0-7 but Hickson played better than I've seen Aldridge play all year. Tough tough loss.
