Going to be interesting how it all unfolds. Even if it does work out for the rest of the season and playoffs (Should we make it.) I just don't think Whiteside will want to be coming off the bench in the long run. Although I could see some fans falling in love with the combo if it works out.

Will Little be back

Not a big game at all. It doesn’t count.

Would like to see an improvement in the perimeter defense and the closing out on shooters. If you have Nurk/Collins down low, there is no excuse to not get out to your man. They did that in the 1st quarter fairly well but in the 3rd quarter, it was a train wreck.

I'm guessing it will be for a small period of time, but maybe Stotts will try to force Toronto into a reaction

usually, the effectiveness of twin towers lineups become a case of which coach blinks first...the one with size or the one with speed. Toronto has Siakam at PF and neither Nurk or Whiteside will be effective guarding him. He's too fast and too good with the ball in his hands. The other side of that would be if either Portland big man could punish Siakam (or Anunoby/Boucher/Johnson) down low on offense enough to offset the issues on defense

Gasol/Ibaka vs Nurkic/Whiteside would be interesting, especially considering both Gasol and Nurk can be really good in high post alignments. But I'd be surprised if the Toronto coach matched Portland's lineup that way. Maybe, in a non-counting game

too bad Ariza isn't playing because he'd be a much more versatile SF in a twin towers set than either Melo or Hezonja.

Memphis has some decent length also.

No Lillard

Left foot inflammation

Who stickied the thread? Took me 5 mins to find the damn thing.

Grrrrrrrrrrr!

I wonder if they blazers are not wanting video of all the Blazers healthy together. Whiteside sat game one, Lillard Game 2. Will be interesting if all play game three or if someone else sits and rests. A little gamesmanship?

Well we got 3J so far, let’s see more tonight

Trent doesn't look so good so far. Oh well. He's a backup.
