DaRizzle, don't believe me, believe your fellow Laker-lover Larry Coon, who has addressed this issue on the RealGM CBA forum. It's 10 games in either of the next two years, not 10 games over the next two years. That guy knows more about the CBA than most GMs.
If or when he plays 10 games in one season (after serving his 10 game suspension), his salary would temporarily go on the Blazers' books. I have been told that there is no way the Blazers wouldn't then appeal the salary being put back on their books and they're confident they would win such an appeal. After all, this rule was put in place so the same team couldn't re-sign a player and lower their cap yet pay him the same salary.
